So true! Especially when you've got folders with a bunch of games and educational apps for kids that start to all look the same after a while

I had a similar problem most of yesterday except mine was the POSIX error. I'm sure if you leave it a few hours and try again it will work

Slightly offtopic but is there any way to make Iconoclasm play nicely with FolderEnhancer? I've noticed from screenshots that the 3x3 looks great with Jaku but Iconoclasm really messes with FolderEnhancer, at least it does with me?

They work fine here. Have never had a problem with them working together. In "Extras" I use System Default 4x4. That's where it affects FolderEnhancer according to the settings screen.

If I enable the 3x3 layout all my folders also get this layout, I'd rather keep it so the folders can have the same layout but the first screen can't.

Oh hang on a minute. Your folders are on your second springboard page. Is that right?
I was thinking / talking about the contents of the folders. Are you talking about the layout of your folder icons on your springboard or the layout of the icons inside your FolderEnhancer folders?
I might be way off what you're after but I have Iconoclasm controlling the layout of my SB icons, including 5 folder icons like this...

Inside the folders, with Iconoclasm set to Default in 'Extras'..

Am I following what you mean?

Yep as said above, you can enable a layout applying only to SpringBoard, and one affecting just the folders' content.
No per-page layout though nor per-folder either.
It's true that if you apply just one layout throughout IOS FolderEnhancer squeeze icons together a wee.

Here's where I've come so far.

I'll take another direction (with that same icon ^^) from now on and will post the resulting image here again.

I am the one to bow reverently both at your skills and generosity on this thread. This icon is way under the majority of the ones produced here and made available to the rest of the community.

Hmm, honored to read such complements from the creator of the great chatkit.UI ;-)
I'm striving to produce more but I'm stuck at the stage where the Jaku template really is required. And I don't have PS.

This is probably the most time I've ever spent on an icon and the background idea came from one of Sino's wallpapers and of course the iCloud brushed metal. I did my best to recreate the effect and I think it turned out pretty nice. I don't plan on making this my finished icon so I suppose it's a preview. Blacksquatch was the one who said if I recreated this better with the concept of change (the seasons), it could become a pretty good looking Winterboard icon. I was planning on adding those curved arrows as well but sometimes I think it might look better without them. I also haven't changed the bevel as I don't know how to recreate the same effect curved...down. I also notched the quality of the text within lowered.. Istarted on a 500 x 500 psd and shrunk it down. Is that why? Again it's just a quick preview but tell me what you think! 

I also just did a fresh restore because it just froze on the Apple Logo...
    So here's a screenshot!

This concept is great. Hope you don't struggle too much with the resizing to start with.

Hi, would you mind to share this blue jaku-shaped badge?

I can't find it in the dropbox?!

    Thanks in advance!

That's correct it's the layout of the icons inside the FolderEnhancer folder that I would like to stay standard, I assumed they would when I applied the 3x3 and it threw my icons onto many pages and after disabling I spent ages putting them all back again!

I want the 3x3 layout on the homescreen & then the folders on the second page but I want the layout inside the folders to stay the same (16 icons per folder page).

Based on your screenshot, I'm guessing this is possible? I'll have a look in the Iconoclasm settings. Thanks!

EDIT: Is it possible to only have it change the first page and leave the rest untouched?

I'm sure I can but I'd like to get clearance first.
Sino, since my badges are your mod, is there any reason I couldn't share them?

A cranky old b@stard who does happen to be very much in love with his wife.

Nope. Per-page Iconoclasm layout is broken on IOS5+.
You can, with a much elaborated workaround, make yourself a custom (9+16) layout where icons superimpose a bit.
Then, with the help of Gridlock, ensure you put the nine icons of your first home screen page in the in-between icon slots. The other springboard pages can then show 16 icons aligned as per the standard IOS layout.
Moving icons around will be a pain though. At this stage I'd recommend using DreamBoard (I in fact could edit a *free* DB theme for that purpose if you wish...). Such pain that would require locking jittering and moving around the icons to prevent you murdering anyone laying his fat fingers on your display a wee bit too long ^^
The theme I run is 3 4 All, by Sk37cH.
    Free. For all devices.

Hello Folks. I was just wondering if any of you would be so kind as to share any Jaku-style icons you might have for the Economist magazine app? I went over the repo and there doesn't seem to be one. Thanks!
