Yes, no surprise to mee I saw them instantly when I made the borders. It's because of too many border layers hovering each other, some pixels are highly intensified and it gives that effect. I didn't fix it yet because it's hell of not finished and it doesn't alter the overal feel or look of the plate so it doesn't bother me yet I won't miss it when "finishing" it.

You're french, you HAVE to criticize me even if it's not done, and then to mention at the end that your criticism isn't criticism yet because it's not even over ... you're so like me. I don't know why, I barely lived in France like you but it's still a part of me too !

First idea of course as it's the original app icon. BUT, B-U-T what happens to the bevel then ? It'd break the whole plate thing for me I think. Maybe it's just me though. I also thought of simply havig hollow bevel as it'd be a real plate icon but it'll look empty near other icons, like a part's missing. Yet if I have to do it this way I'll have to redo the whole plate. Which ain't so good for me lol as it took me two or three hours to get it done (well 2h30 of struggling and half an hour to make it right after some intimacy with GF, I recommend it to anyone who's in lack of creativity though or lucidity, works everytime).

That's a good idea to have the base as the plate.
As I just said, what about the bevel then ??

And what about my iPhone5 frontside icon ?! The version with the big home button ? does the borders look clear enough on retina screens ? or does it look like thick borders only ?

if you look at the weather images, they are several pixels down from where they should be at the top of the icon and it makes it look weird >.>

Haha I thought it was supposed to be that way because the sun is setting here. 😬

Here are the files to add to schnedi's live clock widget to make it so an app can be opened underneath the widget.

Will that work for any widget? Or just schnedi's?

Those specific files will work just for that widget, but follow these instructions to get it to work for others:

However as a work-around you can create a iWidget Icon Overlay that you an place over your icon to give you a similar function.

To make a iWidget Icon Overlay you have to make the iWidget display out of its widget.plist boundries to allow space to touch the icon.

Heres is a simple method to achieve this, credits to Durben for first figuring this out

In your own particular styling css, find the body styling and add the opacity and webkit lines in addition to what you already have defined. Then add the webkit keyframes lines as shown in the pic above.

Now edit your Widget.plist and change the width and height to something smaller than your icon size.
Remember this also defines the area to drag the iWidget, so if you make it too small it will be hard to grab and move. Make it too large and you wont be able to touch the icon below it.

A simple trick to give you enough room to move it and still touch the icon below it is to make the height 1/2 the size of the icon,
this way you can touch the bottom part of the iWidget covering your icon and still touch the icon to open the app.

Here is what I use for mine:

    Hope this helps

I've been wanting to use Schnedi's JellyBean iWidget that he released a few days ago, but I wasn't really sure how to incorporate it into my set up, but if I can get it to work with the code that The.Drifter gave you then all's fine and dandy!

I'll post screens here after I do it.

There was a request on Reddit for a blue version of Elkhardioui's Ribbon badges, here it is if anyone is interested.
