Judging by the way you continue with all this talk about being a real man, i can only presume you're lacking in several aspects in your life. Genetics, getting bullied, whatever the reason, your fault. Not mine.
You see how we're on two different levels mentally. You consider this an argument. To me it's just banter to be taken lightly. See the difference between us? See why you will always equate to amoeba in pale comparison to the likes of me because on the shoulders of giants i do stand.
Example: You go to the doctor, he asks a basic question...how tall are you?
And you give an equally basic answer.
I go to the doctor and i'm asked the same question...however i reply, (true story) "i'm 5'9" but feel 10 feet tall." You see how something so simple and basic defines the difference between us. Do you see and understand how my response garnered respect from my doctor on a level that's beyond basic. It's the same reason you put so much negative emotion into your replies and it's the same reason you're seething behind your keyboard. I'm lightyears beyond you. I find it really funny that you're putting on this sort of image as someone who's a "real man." I'm really curious what your definition of a "real man" is. Personally, I would say someone who's a real man wouldn't be trolling like this and throwing all of this "I'm a real man and you guys aren't" crap around. He would say something like "Hey, check out my screenshot. I really like it." and if he got criticism saying it was crap, he would then reply saying something like "Well, everyone has their own aesthetic taste, and personally, I really like my set up." There wouldn't be any need to defend anything, no arguing, just a very simple and concise way to end the conversation. A real man wouldn't go around insulting people and stirring up arguments, much less with people who, regardless of their physical, social, or economic standing, have contributed a metric f***-ton to this community. A real man wouldn't make a total shift in his grammar and writing style in order to somehow seem better than others. I could go on with the ways I believe you're just some fake who deserves to be ignored.

I tried my best to ignore this little mini debacle. I do like what you said and agree that "real men" so to speak, don't need to talk about it, and can walk away when need be. However, Radio was extremely rude at best and belittling people is unnecessary. 8th has every right to post a screenshot if he is proud of something as he is learning his way around PS and modding. He shouldn't be made feel that his attempts are crap because they aren't to the standards of others. That's the elitist attitude that plagues this thread and keeps only the same 4/5 guys posting anything. Now as far as contributing a metric ton, if making a couple dozen icons for 1 thread is a ton I suppose your right. People should be helped if they need it. Not made feel foolish. I have no issues with anybody. That's just my perspective.

Do you feel that widgets cause your phone to slow down / battery to drain faster? The fear of that is the only thing keeping me from using them xD

It's just like the Haz3 themes. A lot of people like them. A lot of people hate them. Everyone's titled to their opinion.

I didn't mean to be elitist in any way. If my writing comes off like that, that's just my writing style. I haven't changed my word choice in any way specifically for this conversation. But I would say that people such as bjbinc, alfroggy, akrimmer, radioBirdman, and others I'm forgetting deserve to be elevated in the Jaku community as members who have done a lot. Their contributions go beyond just creating custom icons and UI mods. They've spent months in this thread helping people out such as myself. bjbinc runs the repo and has created youtube tutorials that were immensely useful for a lot of people wishing to create icons to complete their themes. To say they haven't contributed a metric f***-ton is not fair to them at all.

If I seem to be making 8th appear foolish, I apologize. I'm just putting into words something that I'm sure everyone reading this can easily see.

I've decided to no longer instigate an argument/conversation with him in any circumstance. I'll no longer be calling him out, and I won't make any more comments about him on this forum.

Edit: Ok, I lied. Every time one of 8th's comments makes me laugh, I'll give him a thanks for making my day a little better. At least it's a positive outcome of all of this.

The screenshot you posted seems to have none of these, but instead, some gaudy colourful crap in the statusbar.. an ugly weather widget (cause it's very important to see the current weather conditions covering 30% of your smartphone's screen every time you look at it.

So here's the SITREP... In order to address Lok's most pressing concerns (preventing people from scraping the site and downloading all the icons to redistribute), the icons will need to be hosted by the repo instead of 3rd party image hosts.
This creates a problem with our current host because we allow copy/paste icons to be submitted (copyright concerns).

So we can either remove all copy/paste icons...Or get another hosting account. GoDaddy has a package for about $55/yr that includes "unlimited" bandwidth and disk space.

It's up to you guys which route to go... Just let me know.

Fair enough, and I don't disagree with any of that. I like how you carry yourself in the cyber world. Very well spoken. I just thought it was wrong that 8th was asking for help and got obliterated. He didn't deserve that and everybody knows how he will respond. If you don't want a bump on your head don't bang it against the wall. I just thought you overlooked the real problem and that's how he was handled. Not how he reacted. And one other little FYI. That widget that Radio called ugly was made by Chevy. One of the men who do contribute a metric ton to this Community. Not just Jaku. It probably has thousands of DLs. Sometimes if you want respect, you gotta give it.
