This is ridiculous! What's the point of making stuff if not to share with others that share your passion? Lok no offense bro. I'm sure in real life you are a great guy and certainly are a great artist. But you need a reality check. Without the community you have nothing. Perhaps you prefer to make these nice things and look at them alone. I've never seen such behavior. Quite frankly it's pathetic!

Ya'll just wait and give him a chance to come explain his side. I'm sure he will post a very long explanation that will make a lot of sense. I don't want to start a ****storm...I mean I wasn't so naive to think this wouldn't, but still...don't start beating on a guy before you hear his side. I don't know if he wanted the site shut down or not, but the fact that he went over me straight to the site host suggests he did.

As I said when I donated, it was for all the work you've done... not only the repo, but the tutorial videos and advice you've provided, plus a tonne of great icons and more. So I won't be needing a refund thanks mate

As for folks flipping out about this and suggesting the thread be closed etc... chill out.. I enjoyed this thread, along with many others, before the repo was developed, before the Dropbox too.. and I hope to continue to enjoy this thread and Jaku.

Y'all paid three bucks for an amazing iOS theme. Three bucks!! The theme continues to be updated even a year after it's release and requests get filled here on this thread all the time! What more do you expect for the money you paid?

I'm not trying to be a suck (like some) but please stop your whining and show a little respect for the author before he pulls the pin on Jaku altogether.

Maybe it's because I'm new, but I don't understand why the repo is being taken down. One of the reasons I actually purchased this theme (even though it's incredibly easy to get for free) is because of the incredible talent AND repo. I really don't understand why you guys need the approval of Lok. I get that he's the creator of the theme, but he shouldn't have any control over the icons other people make or how they are distributed. I personally would volunteer to take on the responsibility of the repo, and I think others would contribute as well.

I can see where Lok is coming from. I know it's a tough decision to make but it's in these hard situations that truly defines us.

I have seen more than one instance where people were using Jaku with only icons from the repo. Additionally, I have seen icon rippers and pirates using watered down versions of Jaku which I assume is against what Lok set out to do with Jaku.

The community doesn't need to end or die here, there are many other ways to share your icons. Sure it may be harder than what we had previously used the repo for but if you search hard enough, you'll be able to find a lot of other talented icon designers already doing it.
