To make it even more confusing, on Drifter's touch iWidget the animation was showing snow only where Ian's PP version showed rain only for the same Yahoo condition "mixed Rain and Snow". How could THAT be? I only have a screen shot of the one though:

It's a question of how YAHOO is reporting the "wintry mix" condition and what number they are assigning it to. As I said, I will report back as soon as I see the condition come back. Right now I have "light snow" in your screenshot, there is rain and snow falling

Confirmed on rain and snow there is indeed both rain and snow. The snow flakes just fall REALLY fast. (Well not really fast... but faster than in the snow condition. They fall at the same rate as the rain when its mixed) See my screenshot the white things are snow. And there are CLEAR raindrops on the right side ImageUploadedByModMyi1364217591.839020.jpg

    I've got rain and snow.

And I can see them both. The snow just falls in the same speed as the rain and makes it hard to differentiate. The snow in this condition doesn't "float" like in the just "snow" condition.

Yes. It wasn't until I looked at my screen shot that I saw there were snow flakes there - but they're indistinguishable from the rain. That's why we don't see them. Dacal implements the sleet.js with more noticeable snow.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

Yes that's because Dacal uses createAdrop and createBdrop for the sleet condition. Is two separate WebKit functions in his JS as seen below

But the script is running correctly Ian. I was wrong. It's just hard to see any snow in your sleet.js because as MJ says it falls at the same rate as the drops. Can you slow the snow down? And make the flakes almost the same size as they are in the snow.js? This is what Dacal's does, if I remember correctly.

Lol!! You're always beating me to it, MJ! .. Well at least we know Ian's sleet.js script is tied to Yahoo Weather codes just fine! All is good. Maybe if Ian might consider a "B" drop for the snow portion to make the mix more noticeable.

LOL. I'm starting to understand the code much better these days. Not so much Greek to me(which I don't speak) more like French (which I do). Hopefully one day it will be English.

Working on adding my hourly timed walls from smash as an option as well

OK, I just re-did the sleet with the createAdrop and createBdrop, looks great now! (big slow snow and the usual rain) It will be in next release.

Default Everything seems to be working fine a couple questions for perfection
    Ian,

Everything seems to be working fine a couple questions for perfection.
    1. First I have an extra second hand on my clock. I use a clock I made for my Porsche. But the little hand covers the My Slant and I would like that just gone any advise.
    2. Second very trivial but where can I change the location the city displays I want to move it down just a scosh so the clock is not interfered with. ie New Baltimore on the right of the clock bottom.
    3. I love the wiper it works awesome Great Job!

    UniAW5.0-img_0044.png

Otherwise this thing rocks great job. Thanks to all who helped. Just waiting for Elite 6 for my icons and my phone will almost be there. I do have a question for Dacal about Manny's lockscreen TEKE6aniWLS1.2 I think there is a conflict with multiple weather animations seems to lock up with light snow and clouds. I looked at the js file and it is Ian Nicole script ver 3.0 But that is for another discussion. Thanks all Great Job and I will keep you posted.

    1. I covered this in the UniAW6.js file, look at the screen shot below and just remove the two slashes highlighted, then the small hand will be gone.

    2. Adjust the "top" value for the "city" in the UniAW6_iph4.css or UniAW6_iph5.css (depending on your phone), the higher the number the lower the city goes. But maybe try making the font size one size smaller instead.

    3. Thanks.

    Ian,
Thank you for that. I'm sure the snowflakes will be more distinguishable now

I have added the option in the config to turn that Large Static weather icon on or off (So it doesn't have to be done in the CSS with the opacity). Also, added hourly timed walls as an option (also in config) or the Jpegifier userWallpaper.

    Thanks,

Here is the new sleet files, you know what to do.
Replace the sleet images folder, + the css and js files with this ones.

    @ Dacal,

I had a quick squint at your latest code, so tomorrow I redo all of mine again

    Many thanks again Dacal.

    Good night all.

Haven't seen the sleet yet since this morning. Playing some more... adding all kinds of options in the config.
Thinking it may be time for a new hourly "TimedWall" package.

Ok, this one solves the width issue:

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=320, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, minimum-scale=1.0 user-scalable=no" />

But the entire page still is 20px too high if you don't have a clear status bar.
You right brian,i try to make it as SB widget and make a quick .html but the position still too high and must change it to 20px lower.. When i try to delete the part like cuzin said as a widget, the weather is goes to the center but it still too high..

Love that look girl. Are the icons normal size? No Shrink? To get 16 icons on a page. What icono layout is that? Anyway love the new TimedWalls. And love that new look. Ian's weather looks GREAT there. Will you be achieving that (with Ian or Dacal's weather) with a WB theme for weather only?

Hi sigit (and anybody else talking about this issue)

Sit back, get yourself a coffee and a cookie, I'm going to start rambling.

This issue has been around since the beginning of PerPageHTML, it's just the way it is and we can do nothing about it.

To try and put it in simple terms, PerPage doesn't take into account the status bar, WinterBoard does.

So if we had a widget that just consists just of a wallpaper, if we put this widget into WB then removed the status bar you would see the wallpaper behind it all the way to the top of the screen.
If we put the same widget into PerPageHTML and removed the status bar, you would see the wallpaper doesn't go to the top of the screen, it actually starts where the status bar ends, the status bar is 20ps thick (40px HD/retina)

I'm guessing there was no way around this and Wynd knew some people like to remove or make semi-transparent their status bars, so he coded it to go 20px higher so it covers under the status bar.

If you look at all previous versions of the UniAW, in the css files all the PerPage versions have been moved up by 20px, if I make a LS or WB version I have to amend the css files to move everything back down.

So no matter what you do with the meta tag this widget will always be 20px high in WB because it's a PP widget.

You should use the meta tag I posted earlier:

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=320, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, minimum-scale=1.0 user-scalable=no" />

When I release a WB version (SB or LS) I will have already made the 20px adjustments in the css files.

So you can't just re-name this Widget.html file and expect it to fit, doesn't work that way, either you adjust the css files or use the piggyback method (as Brian (KOH) does) which is basically nothing more than your WB html file (LockBackground.html for example) with nothing in it but a link to this widget, but in the link it would state "top: 20px;", something like this assumes we have re-named this widget's html file to UniAW6.html:

    <object data="UniAW6.html" type="text/html" style="position: absolute; top: 20px; left: 0px; width: 320px; height: 480px;"></object>

This is a PerPage widget, and a PerPage widget does not fit in WB without making the 20px adjustment somewhere.

I hope this help some of you understand this better.

And that's the end of my story for today. Amen.

Now I got to go and recode all my js files, (I tried to warn you guys, this was only a beta for testing) Hopefully it will not effect your mods too much.

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=320, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, minimum-scale=1.0 user-scalable=no" />

Ty Ian and nope. Doesn't affect the mods, can just copy and paste the CSS
