clockhide for iOS 5
Many people seem to be complaining about ClockHide not functioning on iOS5, so I decided I'd write up a quick one, however I wouldnt put it in cydia for "naming" purposes.
I will however put it up here for you all. This final version has not been tested (dont have a jailbroken device).
This fix is not like those which require editing of files. It's a simple install and go.
*Note* This is still in /"beta"/ stages.
-Change clock Opacity
-Move clock on Y-Axis
-Slight stability increase
-Download the file above
-SSH it onto your iOS 5 iDevice
-Use an app like iFile, MyFile, or Terminal.
-Using iFile or Myfile, select the file and select install.
-Using Terminal type the following
su password dpkg -i /Directory/to/File/ClockHide.deb killall SpringBoard
with the directory in which the file is located.
Alternatively you can add the following repo to cydia
DO NOT REUPLOAD

Not really sure on the instructions here- but the two bars under Alpha don't seem to do anything. I have a clock theme I'm using and it appears to have a bar or shade over the clock, and when I unlock my device it becomes brighter for that split second. I have Hide clock turned to on. Not really sure what Alpha means or what it's supposed to do. You mentioned this will allow you to change opacity and clock placement on Y-axis, but I'm not sure either of these bars are doing anything.

Do you lose music controls too?
I had hide clock on and it didnt work till i messed with the opacity.
phone wont boot now to jailbreak mode,
IF anyone gets stuck like i did just use ifunbox and delete all clockhide files. Ill try this again when there is a more stable version and music controls arent hidden either.

Updated thru Cydia (v.9-1) but the update won't remove itself from cydia. Install it reboot and still shows "Upgrade"
