Hey guys, I just jailbroke my first iphone. So please excuse my ignorance.
I downloaded this theme and I am in love with it. It took me several days to set it up. Thanks to this thread and online videos.
Anyway, I still have some issues. I don't have the colored icons (phone,mail,messages,contacts..ect) How do I activate them? I read the first post in detail and it helped with setting my location on the lock and home screen.
I've read the last few pages and the fringe wallpapers are awesome. Is there a detailed write-up on how to change the wallpapers?
Thanks guys!!

Nice work. I wish I was better at photoshop. Do you mind sending me the png file of the first and last screen cap so I can see what layer effects you've used?
The original set of Fringe wallpapers are here:

He's modified them so if you want it exactly the way he has them you'll need to ask.Last edited by cristovao; 02-28-2012 at 10:02 PM.

The colored icons can be found here:
Library\Themes\equiX.theme\!EXTRAS!\equiX All Buttons
To activate them, you need to copy the files (ex. Twitter.png and [email protected]) into Library\Themes\equiX.theme\icons
As for customizing the theme wallpapers to use the Fringe one I posted, you first need Photoshop, or a like program that will allow you to open and edit .psd files. You'll also need a small amount or basic knowledge of working with layers and effects. The psd files provided have all the effects and masks set on the native walls so applying it to your image will take some tinkering.
Once you've created the png files out of the completed pad files, you need to place them in var\Library\mobile\perpagehtml in each pages folder, each named Wallpaper.png
Sorry it's not as thorough but it should get you started.Off the Dial

cristavao,
When you insert the image into the psd. You see the column on the right? Where all the original wallpapers are? See the chainlink connecting the two images, half white, and half transparent? Drag those into your image and you will see it work."I have no answers, just useless questions."

Back on page 61 kristatos showed an image of "Ians Calandar" which I love and want to mod it into my home screen. I looked around and didn't see where that line calendar came from......I have the wavy status bar

Any references or directions as to where I can find it?
Thanks for an help anyone can offer.
Jeffro

I see a lot of people use biteSMS, do people really prefer that better? Random question. But is anyone good at making glyphs for the button icons? Really want my Tweetbot to stay in theme. I think I am going to use the twitter button for now until I can get a true Tweetbot glyph button.

So I've got my theme all tweaked out and loving it BUT I also have used Existenz and I wanna try Live OS. Does anyone have any ideas for "saving" a theme on my macbook so I can just install the theme I'm in the mood for? I tried backboard but that program does not work well in my opinion.
I appreciate any thoughts.
Thanks,
Jeffro

iFunbox is a great free programme. You can then save the theme files and perpage files on your pc. It will take some installing again if you ever go back. You would have to copy the files back to the original places and move the icons and such where as backboard does that all for you.

Hello.
I have a problem with my bitesms icon, the width on the icon isn't what it's supposed to be. How do I fix this?

you can clearly see the problem. I want the bitesms icon to be the same size as the other icons. I'm 99,9% sure it's just a silly line of text that has to be changed since the icon itself is the correct size.. It's just not showing it.

Have you checked the spelling on the @2x version?
