Hello all...

I installed Dream and placed my apps as i prefer.
The problem is, that only "Phone" app, appears with the correct icon.
See below:



Why all other apps appear as default and distorted?

PS. I have corrected theme's permissions via iFile.

I assure you that:

Permission are all set as they should be.
Both normal & @2x icons exist in "Icon" folder inside the theme.
TripleChecked that icon names match the app names.
Don't have any "hide icon labels" enabled via winterboard.

AND... i've been reading the whole thread, all 141 pages to find an answer...

Pls someone give me a hint!

I am having problems with this theme. I set it up the way I like it and then if I turn phone off or respring it totally goes back to where you start the setup. Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong. I'm on an iphone 4s ios 5.0.1.

Check your permissions on /Library/Dreamboard, need to be read/write/execute with Owner/Group being Mobile. Maybe...

This is the first Dreamboard theme that I have actually left on my phone longer than 30 seconds. Every other Dreamboard theme has pretty much been the same and I just didn't like them. This one is great with no battery sucking widgets. My only complaint is that I can't slide the pages. I am sure that this is just a habit that I can overlook.

I have had that problem (iPhone4 4.3.3) with every dreamboard theme except this one. If you find out what it is please share. I tried the permissions check, but I didn't have /Library/Dreamboard in iFile? I went to the specific theme in iFile and I did notice that Owner/Group was set to mobile and it had read/write/execute.

Flipping pages is not possible. Cause the creator remade the add pages feature, but having the new add pages feature, flipping a page by hand wouldn't be possible anymore.
Trsut me, I've tried a few hours trying to fix it, but no luck

You'll have to set your permission for these files to read, write, execute:
Dream, Current.plist, Dream.plist
"Dream"= Dream folder itself

Sorry for the noobish question, but after I make an icon how do I know what to name it? For instance, I made an icon for Action Movie FX. What do I name it and where does it go?

where can i get the newest version.

Another problem is, that the wallpapers coulndt be changed.
if i select one the backgroud still stayed black.

so i have pixelmator for mac and i need some help or tutorial on how to change the frame color from black to orange. like an orange mod if one is available. all the info ive found has been for photoshop and i'm not that bright on how to do it without having to pay hundreds. so if anyone could send me a link or point me in the right direction or quite possibly can find it your heart to convert it for me either way id appreciate any help thanks guys n gals

V2 is on Cydia, you just need to know which repo to look in.. (I downloaded it but didn't like how the "Home" menu isn't a app launcher anymore so I went back to V1.

To answer the second half of your question, you probably haven't downloaded the wallpaper packs. V1 walls are on Cydia, just search for "Dream Wall".. they'll show without even pressing 'search'. V2 packs are on ThemeIt (download it from Cydia) but know you'll only be able to download them if you bought the theme. The V1 panoramic wallpapers from Cydia worked perfectly fine on V2 but as the for the Per-Page walls.. all the best. I tried to get one to work for almost an hour before giving up and going back to V1.. I preferred the app launcher and horizontal scrolling of V1 anyway.

LOVE this theme however I have one issue (not with the theme itself). I'm trying to give the Photogene 2 app a custom icon but the name is odd (see pic) and no matter what I try, it won't change.



I have tried Photogene2, Photogene 2, Photogene, PG2 as well as using AppInfo but it was zero help. Currently it's the only icon that won't change and I'm guessing it has something to do with that little 2 so I'm stuck with this..



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In relation to my question about the Photogene 2 app not changing, I fixed it by googling the app name to get the little 2 (PhotogeneČ), copied and pasted it and it changed perfectly.

Just a heads up for others in case you come across a similar problem.

Edit: Seems my original question didn't post anyway so this update is pointless.

Thanks to unoimkll for making this theme...its wel good!

Does anyone know how to get the home button working on this theme...for instance if im on page 5, i can press the home button and it wil take me back to page 1...pretty much the same as a standard iphone does?

Its the only thing thats bugging me.
