---[ DESCRIPTION/FEATURES INFORMATION ]----
The next "bar raising" DreamBoard "app" by Fnet Designs, the creator of AppleWEB HD and AppleCORE HD!
TheGRID will feature functionality and design unparalleled to any Dreamboard app available yet. Most of the theme is loaded and unloaded dynamically to conserve memory and use VERY little RAM. And with the customization options available in the theme, the theme can be totally different everyday!
TheGRID is loosly based on Tron Legacy and utilizes all of Dreamboards functionality to date, including keyboard support and is iOS5 ready. Additionally, TheGRID comes with a complete custom UI sound fx pack for winterboard and 2 new ringtones.
Both the ringtones, and the sound FX pack are installed with the theme and can be found in Winterboard, and the general iphone ringtone selection settings.
Features of TheGRID include:
New "Tab" style sliding folders
4 customizable folders to organize all your apps.
1 "all apps" folder for access to everything
The folder labels and styles can be changed in the Preferences "Folder" section
Weather in fahrenheit and celcius (can be changed in the Preferences "Weather" section)
Animations can be toggled on/of
When the dock is lowered, the weather is removed from the theme for extra memory until the dock is raised again.
The dock can be raised and lowered to gain more springboard room and minimize clutter. Please be aware that the dock functions scroll left to right for more options. Dock functions include:
The Quicklaunch interface can house your more frequent apps and can be edited with Dreamboards edit mode. It provides 16 editable slots.
The wallpaper interface is also completely dynamic (loaded and unloaded completely from the theme for better memory usage).
Choose a wallpaper group and your choices are loaded dynamically below the group menu. Just scroll down to choose a wallpaper in that group. There are a total of 54 wallpapers to choose from in 4 groups
The preferences interface is the theme's setting/customization hub.
Here you can change:
The weather zipcode/country code
The weather format (fahrenheit/celcius/Animations on&off)
The weather background
The folder labels and styles
The Dock highlight colors
The Dock banner design
The Dock Logo
The clock dock date/clock format
The theme's glass pane styles
You can also reference help/instructions for the various functions and areas of the theme
Edit mode can be activated INSTANTLY from right in the theme to modify all the editable icon areas
The Widget interface is completely dynamic and takes full advantage of Dreamboard's new 'Advanced Webviews' to support keyboard input.
The following widgets have been implemented:
The FNET News Interface displays a LIVE news feed for updates, new theme announcements, theme concepts and general Fnet Designs news..
Custom Icon Masks
Also incuded several different icon mask/shadows to interchange and match with the theme.
To change the icon mask/shadow is a little tricky.
- You need to copy the icon set (not the folder, just the icons) from the corresponding folder within the 'EXTRA Icon Shadows&Masks' folder and paste them into the Images folder and overwrite the existing ones.
- Delete the icon cache folder (DreamBoard/_library/Cache/Icons/TheGRID) then respring
