[Cydia & Themeit Release] J1HD theme

Hi guys,

I have attempted to create my own theme many times in the past but none of theme go along well with my expectation. My skill is not that good so most of the time i gave them up halfway.

This is my work recently, I personally think it is not so bad so would like to post it here for your comments and advices.

*** v1.0 has been submitted to also and waiting to be live (I have spoken to Tyler, he accepted it, just need to process with the Cydia publishing procedure )

Moving forward, I suppose it depends on your intent. I would keep going for yourself regardless, though it would be a shame to not share those beautiful icons. If you plan to continue and release, definitely stick with the color/effects (icy reflection) you have going there. While I agree with you about Zui (its my default), you may want to try tackling some of the bigger things (keyboard, calc, etc.) and suggest users incorporte Z's Zui Glass UI.

By the way, is the image in the background your own work? You may want to include other backgrounds that are a little more general to appeal to a less specific audience. The image is beautiful, nevertheless.

All in all, I hope you continue on; the work is impressive.

Regarding the behind image of wallpaper, it was not done by me, i jus modded the color effect to suit my taste. Btw the shelves is done by me and i would make the psd or the overlay of it available when i release so users could use their own BG image. The purpose of the glassy transparent shelves is to partially reveal the beauty of the BG image. And i believe many of us here might want to use their own image (a loved one's photo is one of the choices )

*** So far I've done the stock icons, icon mask and autocreate (including the shelves-wallpaper )
** I planed just to make it a SB theme (UI is not in my focus because i think ZUI theme by Z is too amazing to be replaced)

Those icons are very very cool. Don't stop with that. It would appear you have plenty of skills to theme the entire phone.

You can see the default auto-create frame from the Settings & GameCenter icons. For others, i jus played around with the colors + textures to make it goes better with the individual icon

I see. Looks good. I like it. Very noticeable in a good way. I don't recall a theme with different frames for icons.

Thanks man, Yes as I said on earlier post, I will make the shelves-wallpaper psd or overlay available so everyone could use their own BG image. And I'm still considering on which part of the theme will go next
