here my suggest : Keep the relief in icons and keep a real LIGHT style , and i think your UI is perfect really .
And thats done i think your preview is really good , but if you can do another icons style in extra with same 3d but rectangular , or an oval , and after that many color mods and you're all good

This is a very truly one of a kind design, i am amazed. Just need weather widget and i'll send $...
p.s since you wanted to read some thoughts, why not adding a little more white between the silver lines in the weather page? Would cut the uniformity and make it look slick... Just a thought! Keep up the good work. Im a fan already!
