Do you need dreamBoard for this theme, or will it work with winterboard? When i install dreamBoard on my 4.3.1 firmware, my iphone goes into safe mode and it wont let me open dreamBoard.

yeah you need DreamBoard and as far as 4.3.1 compatibility, some people have said it's fine and some say DreamBoard won't work so I'm not sure on that one but maybe they have some better answers in the dreamboard thread. Once you set the permissions and put the theme folder in var/mobile/dreamboard it's actually really simple :-)

No I don't believe I have altered anything. Except use the EDIT mode to set the Weather.

I will try to remove and reinstall this once more.

One other thing though, the folder name was descibed as DreamBoard/apple web os earlier in someone's post. My folder is labelled as AppleWeb. Just need to verify this is the correct name (I haven't changed this).

Using iFile:

once the theme has been saved in the Dreamboard folder, click the little arrow all the way to the right for the AppleWEB folder to enter the folder properties

-then click apply hierarchally to ON
-set ownership permissions to MOBILE for both Owner and Group
-set access permissions to READ, WRITE and EXECUTE for all 3 groups
-click DONE

If this is followed right, you should not have an issue.

NO that is NOT correct(apple web os). The name of the theme and folder is 'AppleWEB' That is the problem. Remove the them, reinstall and reset permissions and you should be good to go!

hey finga just brainstorming after looking at the apple site, what about in the middle instead of the app store or netflix or whatever, an rss feed. Could be through perpage+ maybe like create a perpage and have it lined up within the box kind of like an overlay? Or I'm sure you have other ideas or other ways to do this :-) oh and in case anyone doesn't know already, its amazingly easy to swap out files with dreamboard like for the facebook icon, I use facely HD and you just switch out the bundle in the plist. Again great stuff finga holler if you need help with anything or wanna' kick ideas around :-)

A couple people asked for my calendar icon. I attached the icon but it was just a quick 5 min job. I really would like to see the text font style and color changed to match the original theme. I attached the original images as well. I was having trouble attaching them as png files so I had to convert them to jpeg.

I've seen others go through the same with dreamboard, that why I always suggest to reinstall when all else fails

Right I have just removed via ifile and then redownloaded the zip file and copied over via iphonebrowser.

Hieracy and R,W,E permissions have been applied.

I have opened the theme and have the same issue.

Any ideas?

For people that are having issues setting the theme up (bc I did too) go to cydia, pull up dreamboard, remove it, respring, open cydia, pull up dreamboard, install, respring, voila!

its already hi-res (also just attached another version too on the previous page)

It goes into the images/apps folder, but you will need to make edits to your plist file
(or just wait til V2 comes out)
