Huh... I like it, while simultaneously hating it... As in, love the theme, hate the windows... Just kidding, looks fantastic. Will the start menu have a place for apps like Windows does? There's loads of room for growth! I can't wait to see where you take it. You blew me away with iPrint, now this.

The profile pic could be a photos slidesshow/icon.

I think the taskbar icons could be slight smaller as my initial thought was 'big taskbar' before anything.

Can't wait to see what you make of this!

Slideshow: maybe.. right now it's setup so I can interchange "profile pics" cause I don't want it to suck up memory.

As for large taskbar, you need to actually try this out. Cause it's smaller than it looks on te actual phone res.

Good point - One of the things I love about iPrint is the minimal memory usage. It makes sense not to trade off usability over bells and whistles.

I quite like the idea of interchangable profile pics so keep that going.

Presumably you would incorporate the Winodws Media Player style theme somewhere. I personally like the look of thoses buttons.

As for the taskbat it's possible that I am biased as I was using Shrink for quite a while with smaller icons. I will look forward to seeing it on the phone itself.

I'll have to see if the WMP buttons can go somewhere. The obvious answer would be through WinterBoard, but I don't much enjoy theming on that platform. Music player widget anyone?

I am considering leaving this barebone teaser as it is, a teaser/sample and releasing it with only allapps and the 3 buttons you see on the taskbar (phone, internet, and ipod).

It won't be pretty and have almost no functions, but it will allow you to see the basic design and let you switch to another DB theme cause it sucks at this stage.

I think so too, but only space permitting. I can only make text so small without causing eye strain :P If not, I'll have to place a clock icon at least to access the clock app.
