    I find this a little annoying...

    This function causes crash to Safe Mode on startup:

    Code:
    <key>UpdateCat1Icons</key>
    <array>
    	<string>get.vars.Cats1Icon = 1 ? views.Cat1Icon.image = /Images/CatIcons/1.png</string>
    	<string>get.vars.Cats1Icon = 2 ? views.Cat1Icon.image = /Images/CatIcons/2.png</string>
    	<string>savevar</string>
    </array>
    But this works perfectly fine:

    Code:
    <key>UpdateCat1Icons</key>
    <array>
    	<string>get.vars.Cats1Icon = 1 ? views.Cat1Icon.image = /Images/CatIcons/1.png : *insert any action here whatsoever*</string>
    	<string>get.vars.Cats1Icon = 2 ? views.Cat1Icon.image = /Images/CatIcons/2.png : *insert any action here whatsoever*</string>
    	<string>savevar</string>
    </array>
    /rant

    I feel like I have accomplished enough to show the progress of my theme. Please keep in mind that I have been working exclusively on the functionality so far, and all of the graphics are simply placeholders.

    Are you just trying to cut the size of the plist? Although with most languages you don't need the else statement, I believe while writing these plists you do, it crashes when it reaches the else statement that isn't there

    Well, it is checking the variable and, if the criteria is matched, executes the action.

    By including an "else", I take it that when the criteria is not met, it instead executes a different action. Id rather no action being executed at all when the criteria is not met

    All you'd have to do is put "nothing" for else

    If ? then action : nothing

    Then it will only do the "then" action if the requirement is met, it just crashes springboard if you don't include the else action, it's pretty much an incomplete statement if you leave it out

    I agree, but there are a lot of dreamboard themers in here that are always willing to help, I submitted my beta version of my db theme the other day, waiting for it to be approved, it's called HoneyPhone HD, there are a few bugs but I decided I'd release the beta while I was sorting them out, that way I could get feedback as well

    No problem, anything to help the community, I just released my paid theme but I may have found some bugs, with the widget functionality, if you'd like to take a look send me a pm, maybe you can help find some bugs

    I do have one more issue right now that's kind of boggling my mind.

    What is the correct size for app icons in Dreamboard?

    I currently have them set as 59,60. However I just noticed all of my icons are being squashed vertically and are all blurry. I'm perplexed because retina icons are 118x120, so 59,60 seems like the obvious answer? Note that this issue is affecting icons that are not part of any subviews, and also occurs without using an IconMask, Overlay, AppIconIndicator, etc.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Oh, and in other news... I also started playing around with using the "Icons" folder. Now according to the Wiki, retina sized icons should be labeled "[email protected]". However this is not working for me. The icon will only display if I remove the "@2x". Am I missing something?

    App icons change I believe, between Cydia apps, app store apps, and system apps but I could be wrong

    I believe you still need the SD version of the icon as well to make the "@2x" version work too, however if dreamboard resizes images to the size listed in the plist, doesn't that mean you wouldn't really need to define an image as Retina? If you leave a retina image without the "@2x" wouldn't it still appear as retina on an iPhone 4 or 4S?

    So to be more specific, if you switch between these two images you can see the difference. I'm beginning to believe that this may be a bug in Dreamboard? If so this would truely be a shame.

    My Safari icon image is 72dpi, 118x120. In the plist the frame for the app icon is specified 59x60.

    From the screenshot, apparently the icon is being squashed vertically 2px

    I noticed this when porting WinterBoard themes and it IS annoying indeed.
    I'd love to know of a workaround.

    I have figured out how to resize the animated wheel in my theme (the right side) and move it to spin in the area where the Weather Widget is (top left).
    Creating Themes With Dreamboard-img_0506.png

    However, I want to have both, the current animated wheel on the left (as is in pic) AND behind the weather widget at the same time. However, when I copy the plist code, and add another set into the code, only the first one in the plist shows up... It's as though the second doesn't show up or is canceled out.
    Creating Themes With Dreamboard-plist-help.png

    I did make another widget folder and reference that folder in the plist to direct to it for the smaller spinning wheel, just cannot seem to get both sets of wheel running at the same time. Any hints?

    Each dynamic view needs its own unique id ;-)

    Ok. Got it! I tried naming the new animated wheel a different name after the "Id" tag and still didn't work.
    Im a complete been and am amateur, at best. Break it down Barney Style, please.
    I sort of am taking this on my own as the devs aren't working on it anymore and it's really my favorite theme.
