Decided to go a different route with the facebook widget...changed some stuff around.....if you want to do the same you have to edit the facebook widget html and replace the url with the yahoo one of your city....you can go to it on your pc or ifile and copy the url once done Yahoo! Weather




Only downside I can think of, is not having fwd/back buttons....but oh well

Do we setup the twitter widget on Abes mod the same way as the Facebook widget? Because that doesn't seem to work for me

It scrolls right? Thats not a bad idea. Wondering if maybe that could get incorporated into the htc weather widget and have a toggle button to get the yahoo forcast?

Yah it scrolls....but toggle buttons would be cool too...im looking into about how to get a background behind the keyboard for the HTC right now....and also how to get that bar above the phone button to move when swiping pages....that just bugs me lol

I know what you mean. I havent done too much, havent had time. My set up looks pretty much like the first change I made when I got the beta and havent done much since. New wallpaper, replaced phone/backboard, added one of my own interactive widgets, and got rid of all the blanks to avoid random safe modes..

You'll need to edit the HTML file found in the widgets/twitter folder.
Inside that there's a place at the top for a twitter username and a listname.
Change those to your stuff and you're g2g.
You'll have to create a list on your own twitter account and put the people you want in it.
Don't forget to make it a public list too.

I got rid of the lines with all the "App Icon Placeholder" headings. They were the blank spots to edit and add apps. I'm confortable myself writing the line and placement for which app I want on the board.

If you want to test where the "blanks" show up, replace the App Icon Placeholder with a bundle name that is not presently being used and respring, it will show up on the page and you can decide which app to place there or just remove that code completely to egt rid of the blank

That was clearly an insult to the app and not to other members.

I am well aware of this. But you also realize that this just came out and people posting non-constructive insults is only inhibiting the creators ability to actually improve on the product.

i did it for him and sent him a new .zip file with everything in it
