I saw a trailer for the SimCity that comes out in Feb 2013 and it reminded me of this. Sometimes people think of things and have big ideas for it but don't have either the skill or time to execute it to its fullest potential.

Not sure why has happened with this but over a year and a half later I'm thinking this thing will never see the light of day.

Yeah, people say many things, a lot. Actions are what gets things done, not words. As I said, I was very, very excited by this but just don't think anything will be released anytime soon, if at all. Would be very happy to be proved wrong.

Your right that you don't have to make anything to be on here. If you would have left out the emoji thing laying on the ground laughing after stating its almost been two years it would have been handled differently.

Appreciate the support by those of you who show it here, means a lot.

There are some themers who work full time or all of their spare time to create themes, update them for every new iOS / JB release and keep things moving swiftly to the adoration of theme users. I on the other hand, started theming for myself back in the 1.1.4 days and by 2.* I was seeing people release themes publicly. I thought, why not? But a complete theme takes up A LOT of your time. I've been on the scene for nearly 4 years and in that time I've had two children. I also run my own business so this really is a part time passion. But it is a passion and not something I'm going to leave behind any time soon.

I try to reply to all emails concerning 266 and I check in on the forum posts too, but I simply have not had the time to work on Metropolis as much as I'd like. If I was getting paid my day rate to work on themes I'd have released three or four very detailed, very clean, very professional themes by now that were updated in time for every new jailbreak.

I used to have a detailed 266 site up which over 1000 people subscribed to but it was taking up too much of my time to maintain it and answer all the questions – which I did in detail, often with screenshot or video guides in response. I will be putting that site back up this year, but won't give an ETA as I cannot guarantee any.
