I'm excited to see what they'll do with the iPod Touch. I hope it has way more RAM.
My Touch I've had for over two years now, and the battery doesn't hold that great of a charge. If there's a worthy* Touch update I may pick up a new one. If not, I'll probably update Neurotech for iOS 6, then sell it. I have my eye on the Kindle Paperwhite. I don't really use my iPod much anymore because I do everything on my iPad.

Btw, are you gonna theme Newsstand, J? Someone could post a theme that has it themed so you could know what to do. I'm looking forward to a Newsstand more than iPhone 5.

Oh yeah, I always forget about that one! It's hidden on my iPod so I never see it. I have an idea for it... Now I just have to make it happen!

Newsstand Neurotech'd
Newsstand for Neurotech
Ok guys and girls, I finally sat down and gleefully destroyed that mess of a feature called Newsstand. I deleted the work that took some artist a week to make, then substituted it with my own work, which took about an hour and looks roughly 10x better
Download here: Newsstand Ntech.zip
You can unzip this folder directly to /var/stash/themes, then drag to the top of the list in WinterBoard - or you can stick the 'Bundles' folder directly into /var/stash/themes/Neur0tech HD.
I tested it on two devices, but if there's a problem I missed let me know!Last edited by Jahooba; 09-12-2012 at 01:42 PM.

Honestly, I didn't think I'd be getting a new iPod - I was really wanting that new Kindle - but Apple has somehow convinced me that I want one a new 'Pod

This thing is a beaut. The thing that concerns me is that lanyard loop on the back of the device. Does this mean that it won't lie flat on a table? If I put it down does it rock back and forth, or sit at a weird angle? Can that little iPod Loop knob be removed?
It also comes with Siri, so if I get one you can expect a few more Siri themes

As for the iPhone, it's a very worth upgrade! It looks amazing, it's way lighter/ thinner, has more pixels and a larger screen, and of course LTE. I'm impressed with the direction Apple went with it, design-wise. They took the old shape and modernized it in a way that is at once unique, familiar, and possessing a build-quality that surpasses the iPhone 4's twin-glass design.
A couple years ago I thought they would come out with a phone that's shaped more like the iPod Touch 4. I thought that particular sloped-edge design would translate into a new iPhone. You can be sure they tested that shape, but for whatever reason it didn't make for a nice phone.
I think what's happening is that Apple wants two distinct looks for the iPhone and iPod. They want the flexibility to explore new designs to see what works, but they also want to keep consumers from confusing the iPhone and iPod with each other. That's a pretty smart move.
I can't wait to play with both of these in-store soon
