Thanks PhilGul! I just hope you guys don't lose interest before I get a chance to show you what I've done to it! It'll be very familiar, but much more pervasive - I've themed hundreds of new buttons, bars, thingies and doodads.

I know it's been 3 weeks, which is kind of a lot of time, but the end is in sight! I'm about 95% finished with the iPhone 4-specific changes.

To Do (most of these are for the iPhone 5):

-Various icon fixes and additions
-Various windows related to social apps

Oh, one last thing: I was a little short on the size estimate for the new Neurotech - it seems it's going to be around 97mb! That's before the above changes are added. If you're paying attention - that's roughly 5x the size of Neurotech v1.0! Add on the Color Keyboard theme and the Neurotech Siri theme and you'll have nearly 150mb of tech-style goodness on your device

I've never jailbroken my phone before. But after seeing this theme. I said, What the hell am I doing!? I need this theme. I love the tech and glow style, and I'm a super sucker for anything cyberpunk. Alas, I only jailbroke my phone post iOS6.1.

But I shall be here, waiting. Waiting to stuff my money down your pants to get this theme.

Hey guys, I got a wild idea, but I may need help from one of you.

I want to create a super, super simple app for the homescreen. I can't publish my own apps because I don't own a Mac.

Basically it will just be either 1. an HTML page similar to the Neurotech Cydia description page, or 2. one big image.

Either way, the only requirements will be that it scrolls down/ up, and that links will open in a web browser, and that it places an icon on the desktop.

Think anyone can handle that? It would have to be a .deb file I include in the Neurotech install.

I know you've been working hard on the updates and was wondering if you might look into possibly adding a different frame in the SMS app for the Iphones which can help differentiate between IMessage and Text Messages? I think right now Neurotech uses the same frames for both types (Txt/IMessage)

(And in case you have no idea what I'm talking about , in the native SMS app, if you IMessage someone, the chat bubbles for outbound msgs are blue, whereas standard texts appear in green)

How do you access each type of message? What are the official names of the programs? I really dont know what youre saying, but i can probably fix it

It's nothing that drastically affects the theme, but I think people who have the theme on their phones might like it :P

See the attached photos, the non-themed ones are what IMessage and regular SMS look like, then the same images but with my most current version of Neurotech enabled... As for the actual file types I'm not sure what they are called, but I can try and look into it and let ya know






EDIT: The native SMS app automatically detects whether your new message will be a Standard Text message or an IMessage.

It chooses IMessage when the person you are contacting is also on an Idevice with iOS6+ which then turns into kind of like an instant messaging program through Apples internal databases. (It's pretty nifty, I use it to keep in contact with my family overseas since its free because it uses wifi primarily, and when wifi isn't available, it uses data to then route your IMessage back to Apple db and then send it to the recipients Idevice using IMessage- so it really is like a mobile instant messaging function)

No new apps/programs-or even jailbreaking are required to use IMessages

Think he's talking about the difference between bubble 1 for normal sms and bubble 2 for imessage, The SMS app does display what type of message it is above the bubble

edit: now that I look at my files, yes, the blue bubble is the same as the white. I did this years ago because I never knew the difference between the two!

I've been fixing and adding hundreds (thousands?) of files for the past three weeks - If I were you I wouldn't attempt it yourself, lol, not when it's this close to release.

Most of the big stuff is done, now I mainly have to tweak it and test it out a bit. You can follow my Twitter for progress updates. There is no release date set, but it feels like it will be very soon now.
