Metaserph MOD for Durben's NW Widget b2 (GPS)

Credits: Suby, Durben, Dacal and all others who contributed for the code, Durben for the packaging and making it available for us to use.
I created the overlay texture and modified it to fit with Durben's original images as templates and modded the layout. Time images credits to the originators, I modified them to work with the theme.

How to: YOU NEED TO HAVE DURBEN'S Native Weather Widget b2 (GPS) http://modmyi.com/forums/iphone-4-ne...ml#post6487873

1. Place the Time folder inside the Images folder, after renaming the original folder(ex:Timebk) so they don't get overwritten.

2. WellLock and bottombarknob go inside Bundles/com.apple.springboard. Again, rename the originals to save in case you need them.

3.Topshadow and overlay go inside the Images/Overlay folder. Again, rename originals.

4.Finally the lock.css file goes into the Resources/Css folder. Once again, rename original before replacing the file.

Go by Durben's original posts and click the thanks button, these guys are deserving.

I'm stuck again... I have an iphone 4 with iOS 5.01. FolderIcons installed, but it doesn't appear in Settings. I'm trying to replace the folder icons so each folder has it's own unique icon. I can replace the background for all folders, but not the icon. What am I doing wrong?

The Winterboard Update is great, the Mobile Substrate Update is even greater, just for those who have already updated, but did not read the release notes... I assume that happens a lot... but this new feature could "save" your Jailbreak someday, so keep it in mind

Saurik has been busy today, updating not only the popular theming platform WinterBoard, but also issuing an update to Mobile Substrate, which brings a powerful new feature to jailbreakers. Mobile Substrate is an important package just about all if not all jailbreak tweaks rely on. If you have ever had your device respring into safe mode before, then you are already familiar with Mobile Substrate and you understand the fact that it helps to protect you from fatal conflicts between tweaks or from crashes by giving you back control over your iOS device when it crashes.

We have seen it before where a jailbreak tweak causes a boot loop on the iOS device forcing the user to pretty much restore their iOS device to get it functional again. Today’s update comes with a new feature allowing the jailbreak user to hold down on the up volume button while the iOS device boots up to disable substrate and get into a state where the jailbreak user can launch Cydia and remove the troublesome package wreaking havoc on their iOS device.

Saurik goes on to say if your jailbroken iOS device doesn't have any volume buttons (like the first generation iPod touch) or maybe your up volume button is broken, you can use the controller on your Apple headphones to perform the same task by holding down on the 'clicker.'

While it’s unfortunate to say it, some jailbreak tweaks are simply poorly written and cause conflicts with other tweaks because of it. This new Mobile Substrate feature will help anyone with tweaks installed on their iOS device keep it up and running even against most seemingly hopeless odds. The update is highly recommended to all jailbreakers, so go and grab it today!

Check that the overlays are named correctly and that both "overlay" and "topshadow" are named correctly and both in the Images/Overlay folder. Also you need Wallpaperjpegifier from Cydia, as with most widgets these days. Let me know how it goes.

I think we need to be sure that you have the right widget and that you went to Config file and selected gps to be "true", I think there's several versions. Check Durben's d/l link for the widget, let's try to fix this.

It was the wrong extension. Even reinstalled wallpaperjpegifier. Thanks for your help and also the really nice overlays. They look great with weather images too!

Quick questions, since which winterboard version is the fallback loading screen working? I know I have it quite some time (but I also had the beta running, that's why I am not sure), but since bars did not include any fallback ls, I think this is also new (with the latest winterboard update)? If so people should be informed

Here's how it works...

The fallback loading screen will be pulled if you do not already have a custom loading screen for the application XYZ. In this way every app can have a theme based loading screen by default (if the app supports loadingscreens)...

Place the Fallback-Loading-Screen in

/private/var/stash/Themes.XxXxX/YOURTHEME/Fallback/

O yea. I was looking at that one also. Then I went to first page and saw this one. But I will give that on a try as well. Big thanks for all the work you guys do. Phone keeps looking fresher everyday.
