    unless of course you name it to whateveryoulike.video and drop Wallpaper.mp4 in there, then it will always run, even in the baackground when you open other apps, and will not sleep causing your battery to drain dangerously low.

    Iwish there was a fix for this, or a way to z-index the vwallpaper app to 99999 so it plays waaaaaaay in the back, behind everything else.

    To be honest i'm not sure if the iPod 2G can handle it, your battery would die significantly esp with the video wallpaper. However i'm not sure of the performance with a stock wallpaper.

    Make sure you have infinidock installed, in the settings it should allow you to say "max icons for dock 6", make sure that is checked. And make sure scrolling is off.

    Then the first 4 icons in the dock will be Phone, Ipod, SMS, Mail. The next 2 will be iBlank or Gridlock your call. Hope that makes sense.

    How do you make the icons totally transparent? There is still a little black shadow where icon is and the name under it is still visible

    There's a winterboard theme, something like noiconshadows or something. Bt I suggest you get Gridlock. It's MUUUUCCCH better than iBlanks. You move the icons wherever you want, and they stay there, no need for transparent icons.

    I tried installing this on my 3GS, and it doesn't change the icons or dock image. The widgets work (other than the weather one not syncing like everyone elses), the animated background works, but the Windows taskbar/start menu don't work, and the clock and calendar icons don't go invisible to place them over the widgets.

    anyone got any tips on what needs to be tweaked to get this running on a 3GS?

    Hey Levi,

    That's really strange that neither the dock or the icons are showing up. Did you follow the winterboard alignment via screenshot on my first page?

    Also to answer the question on how to "remove the shadow when pressing the icon".

    - remove or backup [email protected] in the springboard folder located at: system/library/coreservices/springboard.app/

    Hmm.. that didnt seem to do it. Im talking about the dark squares at the dock and the small shadow circle in the middle of the page on top of the hill.

    I know that this is definitely the wrong place to post this, and that no one likes helping newbies; but could someone teach me how to install themes like this from PC to iPod? I'm using a Jailbroken iPod Touch 4G. I know that this theme wasn't meant for an iTouch, but I'd still like to try it and learn .

    I have been tweaking with the Weather Widget for about two weeks now on several themes, but to no avail.... then I realized there is some code missing under the "/var/stash/Themes.****/WinSideBar Weather (1st).theme/Wallpaper.html - about 10 lines down,
    After where it says:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="configureMe.js"/>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="Wallpaper.js"/>

    You type:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="Sources/appleAccuweatherStolen.js"/>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="Sources/yahooWeather.js"/>

    Then under /var/stash/Themes.****/WinSideBar Weather(1st).theme/Private/configureMe.js - right at the top of the script, where it says:

    // If using the default, Apple/AccuWeather parser (originally from Leopard's Weather.wdgt)
    var locale = "put your 5 digit zip code between the quotations" //e.g. 'Los Angeles, CA = "90001"

    Now a couple more lines down make sure you type this code where it says:
    // The onlysupplied icon set is 'klear'
    // Images must follow the same naming schema as the 'klear' set (borrowed from KWeather) [Screw 'klear'. Ya don't need it!

    var iconSetWall = 'vista'
    var iconExtWall = ".png"
    var iconSetLock = 'vista'
    var iconExtLock = '.png'

    Skip to the next line of code where it says

    // The other available source is 'yahooWeather' which for the 'locale'
    // requires a US zip or location code (e.q. UKXX0085 or CHXX0008) from Weather forecast, maps, news, alerts, and video on Yahoo! Weather

    Make sure your source looks as follows:

    var source = 'yahooWeather'
    //'appleAccuweatherStolen'|'yahooWeather'

    Then set your last line to:
    var updateInterval = 5 //Minutes

    Under /WinSideBar Weather(1st).theme/Private/Sources/
    - you should have 2 ".js" source files:
    appleAccuweatherStolen.js and yahooWeather.js
    I'm sure you have read in other forum post and threads about people adding their US Zip code to code text in both of these files, well I didn't add anything to these sources and mine worked just fine. I suggest before you add your US Zip code or Location code, you should first RESPRING and see what happens. Now a lot of people make the mistake of Respringing once and not seeing any changes to the Weather Widget then deleting all of their progress and then try another idea. Well, if by some means this technique does not work for you the first time you respring wait a couple of minutes and then respring again. That should do the trick. If not, then add your US ZIP or Location Code to the sources.

    This is in response to Saintzfan607's question about the icon shadows still showing on the Springboard. You need to download iBlank from CYDIA - you don't necessarily need to even use iBlank, just after you download it open up WinterBoard and scroll down to where you see "No Icon Shadows - iBlank" and check that modification then RESPRING your device. There ya go!!!

    Hey Brian,

    Thank you for taking the time to share us with such a detailed fix for the Weather Sidebar... I made the adjustments as you mentioned above but still seeing a "Loading" image. Is it possible you can include your Wallpaper.html & Configureme.js?

    Thanks in advance!

    Marc, simply delete the Wallpaper.mp4 out of the Windows 7 Theme directory and WinSideBar Weather Directory, then you will be fine. Simply choose which solid wallpaper you would like to use with it.

    Hey ZINJEN, lets try this route....

    You E-mail me your Wallpaper.html and configureMe.js files to [email protected] and I will see what yours looks like and check to see if it works with my widgets. Then I will alter them accordingly then either post them both, or just return the files in a reply E-Mail.

    Well, here.... this is for everybody -

    here is the correct Wallpaper.html

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>
    <html><head>
    <base href="Private/"/>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>

    <style>
    body {
    background-color: ;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 20px 0 0 0;
    height: 480px;
    width: 320px;
    }
    </style>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="configureMe.js"/>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="Wallpaper.js"/>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="Sources/appleAccuweatherStolen.js"/>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="Sources/yahooWeather.js"/>
    </head>
    <body onload="onLoad()">

    And here is the correct configureMe.js file:

    // WeatherWidget.theme
    // Produced by Adam Watkins (http://www.stupidpupil.co.uk)

    // The location field should be a relatively machine-legible string
    // if using the default, Apple/AccuWeather parser (originally from Leopard's Weather.wdgt)
    var locale = "72076" //e.g. 'Defiance, Ohio'|'Moscow, Russia'|'Ledyard, AT'|'London, UK'

    // Set to 'false' if you'd prefer Farenheit
    var isCelsius = false //true|false

    Oh, and btw at the end of the configureMe.js file I just posted, if you decided to just copy and paste it into your theme then please remember at the end of the code where it says:

    // The other available source is 'yahooWeather' which for the 'locale'
    // requires a US zip or location code (e.g. UKXX0085 or CHXX0008) from Weather forecast, maps, news, alerts, and video on Yahoo! Weather
    var source = 'yahooWeather' //'appleAccuweatherStolen'|'yahooWeather'

    // Please endeavour to set this to a sensible value if you really must change it...
    var updateInterval = 5 //Minutes

    ***** MAKE SURE WHERE I COLORED THE TEXT BLUE YOU CHANGE THAT TO SAY THE CORRECT WEBSITE URL:
    http : // weather . yahoo . com

    Also make sure you do NOT edit the two sources of:

    appleAccuweatherStolen.js and yahooWeather.js

    If you have edited them in any way, then just go back and delete what you have typed. There is no need to put your Zipcode in the two sources because it is already in the configureMe.js
