Default Editing What apps open with what icons
Is there a way to change what apps open with the new icons on the screen?

For example, I want to change the mesaging icon on the gyro theme to open bitesms, due to the fact the original icon doesnt actually open anything.

I've looked into the files in the phone but dont really know what im doing.

    Thanks in advance.

open up the plist and search for the name that the sms icon hase got for ex messages.png
above this you will see the line ''launch come.apple.mobilesms ( or whatever it is ) you need to change this to the launch protocol of biteSms

ive tried a few different codes, but not sure if im accessing the correct file for bitesms.ive taken out the apple.com.mobilesms and put in bitesms, i've also tried putting in the directory of the file /applications/bitesms.app/bitesms. but that never worked either. Is there a certain code that i need to use for this ?

go to your bitSms folder en open I think the info plist there , there should be a command line for bitsms to open
this command line needs to be in the plist of your theme

Also there is an app called AppInfo (available on cydia), download this and it will tell you the code that you need to change it to get your bite sms working. then do what jell said, and edit the .plist and it should work perfectly.

Perfect, thanks folks. It was quite simple really. Just a complete novice to coding. I'll have a look at that cydia app as well tho. Could come in handy.

    Cheers guys.
