[Release] MiSense Android Theme For iPhone+iPod Touch! Firmware 3.x.x

DONATE
It's finally here. I have been getting loads of messages requesting this to be released before I write a tutorial... Continue for the download link and the instructions.
So here is a video showing off the theme:
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hchQps-ZNGA]YouTube - RELEASE: MiSense WInterboard Theme. HTC Sense like UI[/ame]
Looks good eh? It's better in person. The video doesn't do it justice :P.
Let's get started then!
***WARNING*** Will take some time to set up so be patient! ***WARNING***
Download from MegaUpload
Password: wongys-world.blogspot.com
Setting up the iPod:
First things first. We need to set the iPod up for the theme. To make it easier for yourself, disable all the themes you have so you can easily arrange the icons around.
Now go to Cydia and download the following packages:
Essentials:
Winterboard (duh)
Infiniboard
Infinidock
iBlank/Blank Null
Five Column Springboard
Five iRows
Categories
CategoriesSB
Rename 2
Shrink
SpringJumps
SSH
Optional:
FontSwap
DroidSans Font for FontSwap
SBSettings
**********
After you installed all of these packages, it's time to get started!
Go into the Settings application and use these EXACT settings for Infinidock, Infiniboard and Shrink:

Respring if required.
That's the settings app now set up. A long way to go!
Now it's time to re-arrange the icons.
Open SpringJumps and make sure Page1 is ON and the rest is OFF. Change the name of Page1 to: " " (A space, no quotation marks).

Now open Rename 2 and change the name of your desired weather app. Note: This doesn't work with the official weather app. I use World Weather.World Weather for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

Rename it to " ". (A SPACE without the quotation marks)
Respring if required.
Now open up categories.

Use categories and create a folder called "Applications" and put all the applications you want into there. Just don't put the mall in there as you may need some for the homescreen.
Now you need to tweak the settings for the categories folder. Set it up like this:

That's Categories sorted! You still with me?
Let's keep going!
Now all of these icons will need to be organised. Now set up your icons like this:

This is the homepage. Ignore the dock for now. You will need two rows of 5 blank icons for the first two rows. The third row requires two blanks, then your renamed weather app then two more blanks. The next row, put four of your favourite apps along the row then put a blank at the end. Then finish the bottom row with any apps you want, with a maximum of 5 apps for the bottom row.
Now for Page1 or the Games page.

You will need 4 blank icons. Put two blank icons, then the springjump icon then the last two blank icons after. Now just fill the page with all of your games! I did it in alphabetically
.
Now for the dock.

The dock can be simply be for any app you want. Preferably your most used apps.
The general setup is like this: App|Blank|App|Blank|App
The Applications folder created in Categories MUST go into the 4th slot of the dock replacing the blank. So it will be like: App|Blank|App|Applications Folder|App.
Now that's the iPod setup!
Now it's time to setup the theme and files on the computer before we SSH it over to the iPod/iPhone.
First of all, download the theme from Megaupload
Password: wongys-world.blogspot.com
Now unzip it. I will not tell you how to unzip it. If you don't know how, just go away. Go on. Walk away!
Once you have unzipped, go into the MiSense.theme folder, then Private then right-click the ConfigureMe file and open it in Notepad.

Now edit the var locale line. Replace XXX with your city/town and YYY with your country or state. Save it and close it.
Come out of the MiSense.theme folder and go into the Wallpapers&LockBackgrounds Folder.

Pick your desired wallpaper and lockbackgrounds and rename them to:
"LockBackground" and "Wallpaper". Now put them into the MiSense.theme folder.
Now open the Page1.PSD in photoshop and create the your Page1.png. Just change the text. Save and move it to the MiSense.theme folder
That is pretty much it.
Now SSH the MiSense.theme and the MiSense Tap To Unlock.theme (optional) to the themes.xxxxx folder onto your device.

Now open Winterboard and select the theme.

Respring and your done!

Anyone got any tips on making this ios4 compatible? Its just the per-page wallpapers that really make it what it is. I have thought of using folders to hold the apps in. having the widget taking up to rows. The last rows can be filled with 8 apps. Using gridlock i could put 8 apps on the bottom two rows and use that to scroll.

Looks awesome!
giving this amazing theme a shot, setting up now. Will edit once i finish installing.
Edit:
The theme looks great! i made my icons for the docks since i use an iPhone my layout was sort of different. but nonetheless, great theme and feels smooth.
congrats on a fine piece of work.
Is there a way to make the bubbles animate on the homepage (Page0)?Last edited by Innov8; 12-12-2010 at 02:26 AM.

hey nikki
I got your great theme on my iPhone 4
I had to tweak the icons on the infinidock so it's looks even on the bottom and created more custom mades via Photoshop.
the only thing i'm having a problem is creating that page1.png under the games page. i would love to add that but cannot get it to appear
and that grey button on page0.png to appear on the homepage seems to be a nice addon.. (but does not show) so i'm going to have to tweak via PS that to appear too..
cheers
