It's work in progress, but I'm getting close. This is what the thing could look like. Now I need to put the pieces together to highlight properly. Wish me luck.
looks great and i was just wondering in the finished version .. is it your intention to have the little circles on each button light up when the button is pressed?
yes, each of the LEDs will light up when the button is pressed. The three lowest buttons will lighten up in a glow and the bottom icons will be desaturated for the inactive screens. So only the active screen will have a colored icon to indicate it is active, whereas all others will be grayscale and only acquire color when active.
Okay, so here's a modified version that hopefully takes care of the recent calls icon and the keypad/calc confusion. There's just two things that I'm not sure about and that is the color/brightness of phone number display on top and the color of the LEDs. I will experiment a bit and offer some options. In the meantime, please voice any changes you would like to see implemented.
Here are some LED colors and a modified display. Let me know which LED color you like best (I could also have different colors for different buttons) and also let me know whether the new display is preferable to the previous version.
