available for 99cents on cydia has sky rocketed to the worst EVER!
so your charging 99cents for what the description says as:

Shotgun theme with many icons!
currently over 200 with a custon slider.
there will many updates in the near future
including sms ballons, sms background
and also a battery!

...ok seriously lets take a look...





lock screen?.......wow.....
and the 200 icons? youtube , calculator, accuweather and appstore have the same icon....
actually..they are all the same icon but different colors...and wtf is up with the calendar app lol

"worst theme of the week" thread!
what i really want to do is target week themes , not to bash but to give the creator a chance to step his game up!

we all kno that cydia is crowded with junk...and i mean junk..
a theme shouldnt just be for example:

oh, the new avatar movie came out, let me make a theme that has a skewed background of the blue guys and replace every icon with the same face icon and call that a theme.

maybe this thread will be a wake-up call to repo managers to start filtering crap from usefulness..so

RULES:

1. To nominate a theme, you must provide screenshots to the theme and why it should be plastered on the first page
2. constructive criticism is highly welcome...profanity and insults are not...example:

-Accepted= these theme was poorly put together
-Not Allowed= the **** that made is is a ****** ** **** noob that should ******** burn in the depts of **** with a *** and **** in **** around the **** to ********

3. if the theme is paid, u have to own it or just use the screen shots they provided...no pirated themes
4. stay relevant to the topic if a theme debate starts
5. if your the person that made the theme thats plastered in the first page, this is not to make fun of you but to tone your skills...
if offended , PM me and we can handle the situation... dont troll the board
6. make sure no warez icons are in the screenshots

constructive criticism is not bad...its rather opinion on how to improve...if i dont tell barsoverbeats that his theme sucks, his next theme is just gonna suck aswell (just kidding barsoverbeats ) but we need feed back

Uh... I kinda like the ferrari one. The icons actually look pretty nice. I think if you really want to show the worst themes you can just have like a link to the ipodtouchfans theming section lmao

what makes the ferrari theme suck is that he just basically got any red icon he could find and addd the ferrari logo..but the icons dont go with the theme...like the cycorder icon...does not fit with ferrari...and the mail app....are u kidding me...basically like i said, he just got a background and tried to match icons..not like real good themes like MMi theme or other themes that really change the look of your phone to something hawt..

The Cydia store is no different than Apples store. Always gonna get ordinary stuff but truly makes the real themes and mods/tweaks really stand out. It's good people having a go. Cheers to the creative themers here.

I agree to that, cydia is full of junk, every wallpaper is a theme now, 30 new ringtones a day, IT IS DEFINTLY TIME TO CLEAN IT UP and bring more qualtity for the users.
I wish even modmyi would take a deeper look at what they are uploading !


I canīt be that Modmyi, a "premier iphone community" releases garbage like "baby cow" and "ski theme". This junk let you all wait longer for updates and real themers and users for support !

I've got it!! Since all of us have been looking for a way to sort the crap from the great themes, cydia should be redone in a way where it has all the themes r sorted into two main folders, one called (complex) & (dull-simple) or (themes created by more "talented or well known creaters" vs (easier dull themes) so everyone gets their way but we would have to tell saurik

I also agree. That's why I don't visit cydia but once a week to see if ny tweaks have any updates. I wait to here about new cool tweaks from friends and MMI then seeing what's new everyday.

It's to bad as all the good themes get lost in the pile of crap.
