haha you aren't bad man but what yo uare explaining is wht he first started out the theme like, but he doenst like how when you swipe the icons dont ahve a border, so he decided to make the icons with a border and take out the border of the background

ok another suggestion then. I'm guessing it doesn't look too good cos the background chrome tubes are like in a messy effect. maybe something a little systematic but random, and in the areas with icons, cut them out too but add some sort of additional "frame" or like (fer example) a plug. or two plugs. one on either side of the icon cut-out area. then on the actual icons it self have, on either sides, like the power socket. (to create the effect that after swiping each page, the icons get plugged into the background tubes) plugs and sockets are ofcourse, an example. many other things will look great when "connected"..

LOL ok but yea I, personally am up for the idea of fusing the icons some way with the fabulous background. there could be even a sound of somesort each time u flick a page..! hah! a background as another layer for the icon frame is certainly a sell-able idea.

nice job, the background seems too strong in my opinion for a icon theme, but im sure u can make it fit

You know phanatic, I've been thinking about trying a version of the springboard without any icon frames at all, maybe just a small 50x50 px icon mask with some shadowing underneath or an internal shadow or something - I'll whip something up and see what you think....

wat would be beast is if u could somehow make it look like the icons are part of the background, like they are part of the web instead of on top of it

Phanatic - great minds really do think alike

I actually started this theme on that exact premise - that's where the "fusion" name came from, because my original design fused the icons in with the wallpaper. When I tested it though, swiping from one springboard to the next looked really bad because the icon artwork would move, while the frames and background stayed stationary.

that's what Santaf told me too -- I was hoping there was some way I could add a clipping mask to the wallpaper so the icons would move underneath -- that would be ideal, but the wallpaper moving with the icons is a good alternative. Would I drop those page.png files in the main theme folder in place of the Wallapaper.png?

and i extremely like the last one super clean the busyness was something i was meh about the others which is why i liked the bigger tube lines becaue there was less of them made it more clean. i like that diamond one you could make lots too like horizontal and/or vertical lines just connecting the rows and/or columns of icons
