Hi there,

this is my first thread so maybe there is something missing. This is a kind of mod of Bluemetals amazing hdphone theme.
Though I´m no professional skinner I'm starting this thread not to spam buemetal original thread anymore.

This thread could be a collection of ideas coressponding to this concept.

This theme operates with previews similiar to apple Mac preview-window on each app on the springboard. In combination with the standard animation of the iphone opening apps this is quite impressive



The nice thing is, you can swipe through pages without a "break" between the pages - You will see the right preview in full moving to the left like here:


It is based on bluemetals HDphone theme with the amazing 8 (!)springjumps on the dock (WOW man) and permission is granted.

This is a mainly 2main-apps-per-page setup (Page0 and Page7 contain 3 main apps) + some categories folders. I took advantage of the fact, that a springboard icon on a Page is also visible on the previous page - when it is big enough. So you have no break by swiping from one page to the other ;-)

The active "previews" are the left and the middle of each page - except Page0 and Page7: Here all three previews are active.

For sure in case you have two apps for similar purposes you can benefit of this setup:
E.G. On Page0 I have a quick dialer on the right side (Faces Lite with a transparent icon) and on Page1 I have placed Faces as a Full contact app on the left side - The Contacts preview icon works therefore on both pages.

What you need for this theme:
- 8docks.app (look at hdphone thread, see above)
- 5iRows
- 5icolumns
- iBlank
- Categories(SB)
- No calendar date

Please note:
Besides the theme I have included the psds templates for the icons BUT NOT for the wallpaper - The dock graphics has been done by bluemetal and to get this template you will need donate to him at his hdphone thread - His amazing work deserves this.

The main apps are NOT included fully but creating your own icons is not TOO hard:
How to operate the template:
- Make a screenshot of your app
- Cut of everything except the taskbar
- Paste in my template
- Resize to 70 percent and put the mask of the sample layer to your screenshot
- Mark all (Mac this is "cmd" + "A") and copy all layers (Mac: "shift" + "cmd" + "C")
- Paste and allign, put opacity to 50%
- Flip vertically and allign at the lower part of the screen
- Put the mask for the sample reflection to your copy

Is a bit hard as I´m not a professional skinner nor a photoshop artist. So i will not create widgets or something simply because I don't know anything about html...but together we could try things...

very good and beautiful. The page overlapping icons are really tricky
the calendar can be changed in the info.plist file of the theme with a text editor. But as you can see on my theme this isn´t easy as you have only a space of about 60x60 pixels to play with it, so i must draw the calendar icon more to the right.

if you do that with html code the calendar is allways there on every page.

And: in case anybody can me direct in understanding the info.plists parameters it would be great.
I think weather and date could be managed I would love to try, but I need a kind of wiki for info.plst first...

...hm well i found something to start with for the calendar: But though I thought the info.plist file enclosed is right and is located in a new theme ABOVE my S2P it does nothing on my springboard.
If somebody could tell what I'm doing wrong this would be very helpful.
