Is it possible to rename the mp4 to LockBackground.mp4 and use this as a lockscreen background? If it works will it kill my memory and/or battery?

No- Animated Lockscreens only support GIF files at this time

Oh, but if I i convert the mp4 to a gif file will it work and if so what is the best software (preferrably mac but i have vmware so windows is ok) to convert this file. Or if someone here could convert it for me it would be much appreciated.

By the way, does having a gif lockscreen or the mp4 wallpaper affect battery life, ram, ect. signifigently?
