dharris, I am having the exact same issue. In the first link you have above, the files inside of that zip folder are as follows;
macosx..........file folder
ione............file folder
macosx..........file
ione............windows theme file
I can only extract the file and the windows theme file and then I get this error message;
There is already a file with the same name as the folder you have specified. Specify a different name.
I then get the have the options to try again, quit, or cancel.
Try again does nothing but bring up the same error message, quit or cancel both take me to the folder where I have extracted the files to. Inside that folder, only the windows theme file and the file exist. The file folders do not extract.
I have searched online but can not find a hotfix for windows vista for this issue, any suggestions.

Stacks question
As per the attached screenshot, I am having problems with my icons showing double icons...the icons that are "underneath" are actually icons that are on another stack, I can refresh and they will go away, but they keep coming back...anyone else have this issue, if so, what gives?

Yes. This ia a bug with stacks that hopefully will be addressed in next release. It happens when instead of closing a stack, you use the home button to get rid of the stack. The result is that the stack is still active, although you cannot see it, and you need to go back in and close it normally.
For example:
I open the Games stack. Decide not to launch anything. Close the stack by hitting home button. Now i go into the Apps Stack. Now i see the Games stack under the app stack. I have to go back into the Games stack (even though it doesnt appear open) and close it normally.
The net net is that for those times i accidentally close a stack by hitting home, i go right back in and close it normally. Again this is an alpha but hopefully its fixed soon.

This is because i put all the icons into the Icon folder for people who wanted to use the ipod instead of the Phone. Simple fix. Open the iOne theme, go into the Icons folder, and rename the iPod.png to something like ipod1.png (or i think there is already an ipod1.png so name it ipod2.png). That will fix your problem. This goes for the other icons your not using. So if you want the other icons in the stacks to show normally, rename Safari, photos, etc.

Couldnt wait to get home and try this out , its just what ive been wanting! , can i ask a small request please?
The wallpaper , where it list Favs , Media , Games etc down the right hand side , can i get a copy of the wallpaer that says Office instead of Favs?
Secondly could i get the icons placed onto the actual wallpaper so i can make the icons themselfs transparent? Icons i mean are mail , im+ and sms.
Is that possible?
Great work btw , this is staying on my phone for a long time! best theme ever!
BTW maybe the calendar would look better under the message center and the phone icon smaller and placed where the calendar is now? just a thought , hope you can do the request , top marks!
Edit , actually can i have the first request to read Home instead of favs?

One more question.
Is there way to get the temperature to show as °C rather than °F? I changed it in TWC and did a respring, but it's still showing as °F. No biggie, if there's no way, I'l just have to get better at math ;-)

Ok my friend. I dont know what to tell you as no one else has this problem. I have recreated the zip file on a PC vs a Mac as maybe something on the mac compression is causing your error. Here is the link for you. I hope this works.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/wuolcm...e_Theme_PC.zip
Please let me know.
Open up the iOneWeather theme and go into the Private folder. Open up the configure.js file and change the parameter that says " var isCelsius" to True.Last edited by dharris; 11-02-2009 at 01:42 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Love this theme, fantastic work

Hope this info helps someone, or maybe it's just n00bs like me that get these things wrong
For the weather, if you are in another part of the world other than the US, well here's what I did for edinburgh in the UK
Went to the main accuweather page and selected WORLD and typed in my city, once it found it the address bar at the top then showed me what I needed to put in the config file
AccuWeather.com - Edinburgh, UNITED KINGDOM - Weather Forecast - Local Weather Forecasts
EUR|UK|UK612|Edinburgh
Replaced the Newyork NY with the above and hey presto
Hope this helps someone

I generally am not going to customize these because i dont want to have to maintain them all. My ultimate goal is to make this more modular but for now its sticky. Ill do it this time. Just put it in the iOne theme folder and rename it to Wallpaper.png to replace the one in there.
Not sure why you would want to do this unless you want to use different apps. In this case just change the name to the name of the app so you could rename Mail to say Notes.Secondly could i get the icons placed onto the actual wallpaper so i can make the icons themselfs transparent? Icons i mean are mail , im+ and sms.
Is that possible?
Thanks for the input. Im definitely considering refinements to make this better.Great work btw , this is staying on my phone for a long time! best theme ever!

Thanks for the request

For info i used catergories instead of stacks , its alot easier and i like catergories as i have alot of apps lol
I messed around with the screenshot to see what things would look like as i find the calendar looks weird down there.
I enlarged and moved calendar below time and date , added a bar below this that read 'make a note'(would be for notes or to do app etc) , it all looked easier on the eye even though i couldnt do it to actual theme as your the talented one lol.
Finally moved the message center bar down to where dock would usually be made it longer and added a phone icon on the right side of the bar.
It looked sweat , try it , in my eyes its cleaner and looks better , thanks for this awsome theme though , finally found one i can keep
If you dont want this theme that way then how do i move the calendar to do this myself?
ps oh and maybe two version , light (current) and dark , and some seem to like the dark types.
Im wondering , is it possible to make the wallpaper as the actual overlay? then you could have rotating wallpapers black , white , grey etc?
Btw could you make another one of these that reads Home instead of favs on the right hand side bar?
I absolutely love this theme , getting all sorts of ideas , definetly needs the calendar below the time/weather , bar at bottom for message center , and next to new placed calendar you can fit in two icons one above the other , notes and todo etc. Could even place another bar under calendar with a few quick links!
Keep up the good work guys!Last edited by Fewzz; 11-03-2009 at 01:41 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I am at work so have to use paint lol

This is what i mean , look at the attached picture , it looks so sweat!
The box next to calendar could be few things , i would place a text in your style saying 'to do'
Media bar would be camera, safari and facebook!
Ignore the phone icon i just grabbed that from another thread here just to show what i mean.
What i need is the editted file that puts the Calendar there?
Also anyone got talent to make three icons to match this theme?
Safari / ToDo / and Settings , oh and also phone.
(Settings as i may see what it is like with a five icon dock)
The best one page theme around

All,
I have been playing around with other clocks. I would love your input on the following. This is a nice analog clock with a live seconds hand. I have changed the calendar position as well. Just trying some things.
Let me know your thoughts. I think I like this one.

Hmm , the Phone icon is cool and is placed in a ideal spot in my opinion , so id say you have the right hand side of the screen sorted , the phone icon is ideal and the location is spot on.
The new colour for the background on the weather and clock is nice too
(you know i think your still going to need two version , light and dark lol )
That leaves (and this is just my opinion) , the message center bar and the calendar.
So many options to fill that gap lol , thats also why i love this theme. One problem that i find for me , i find i need just a few more icons instantly available , settings and ToDo.
So maybe test out the calendar directly below the calendar?
Move message center to bottom (so in a way a dock) , thisll give you more spaces. Keep the phone in that spot add your message bar that runs along bottom running under the phone icon. This gives them a message center in on spot.
Where the message center would have been add another bar allow users to add 3 more icons for quick access to really make it a one page theme.
As for Clock , interesting , i know what you mean , you want a piece of differance , but in honesty i do like the original clock look , i know it is popular but it looks and really suites this theme.
So close to perfection huh? hehe
Example:

The new blue background to clock is better too.
BTW sorry to ask but could i get some icon requests? i can carry on tinkering then hehe , and i need these on the front screen
If so they are:
ToDo (or it can look like a planner/notes etc)
Settings
