Excellent :-)
I was going to try to put the various parts of the themes together myself, but now I'll just wait patiently.

Great theme. However, I do have one simple question. When you download this theme from Page 1, and then unzip it, all the files are in one folder. I've created a iOne.theme folder under library/themes, so the question is, do I have to go thru each single file and move them to the correct folder and sub folder. So I have to create an Icons folder, Bundles folder and Folder. If so, that's a headache. Unless there is something I'm missing can someone help me out?

Guys,
For everyone looking for links, please see the first post for updates. I have modified and updates some files and this the links have changed.
I have also enabled a shared folder for everyone to upload their mods. I think this will work well if people follow directions. Please see the first link updated for instructions on how to share your mods and files for this theme as well as where users can download them (new link at the bottom of the first post)

Thanks to everyone for great work.

Jim I dont follow. First, I have moved and uploaded the theme here:
https://secure.filesanywhere.com/fs/...8e59646fb06cae
The download is a zip file. When you unzip, you get a folder called iOne_Theme. Inside this folder there are now 4 .theme files (iOne.theme, iOneWeather.theme, iOneBlack.theme and iOneWeatherBlack.theme) and a setup folder with install instructions. If you are using a PC, then i believe the .theme files show up as normal folders. Do not worry about this. There is nothing you need to mod inside these folders. Simply copy all 4 .theme files (mac) of all 4 folders onto your iPhone into the following directory which houses all the other themes: /Library/Themes
Follow the setup instructions and when setup is done, then go into the Winterboard app on your phone and select the two theme you want (obviously the black iOne and iOneWeather theme go together and iOne and iOneWeather go together.Last edited by dharris; 11-10-2009 at 11:06 PM.

Thanks for the reply dharris, but the same thing is happening on the new upload site. When I unzip the iOne_Theme Original file, it opens up with all the files in one folder, nothing is broken down into separate folders or anything, it's all together.

Jim,
Yes. This one folder then houses the four theme files and the setup instructions. Within every theme, there are multiple folders of icons, images, etc. but you dont need to concern yourself with those unless your modding. Open up the downloaded folder so you see the 4 theme folders and setup instructions. Copy the 4 theme folders to your iphone per my instructions above and follow the directions in the setup folder (not required to copy to your iphone).

That's the thing buddy, I downloaded the .zip file, unzipped it, and after it's unzipped, I see all the files grouped together my friend. I've made a few themes in the past and fully understand how to mod and what not, but for some reason, this has me baffled. There are no folders at all, just all the .png files, and .js files, .jpg files etc.....No seperate folders after I've unzipped them to see any seperate theme folders.

Jim,
mac or PC? Are you using Chromium by chance as your browser? I have seen it zip the zip file which creates problems. Can you try another browser? I know its not the files. Works fine for me when I test on multiple computers and no one else has this problem.
Let me know.

Cheers guy!
Have got it all sorted now...with one minor issue - the weather theme is fantastic, but as soon as I enable the iOne_Theme_CategoriesSBMod theme, the month in the calendar has the days superimposed over it...any thoughts?
I've also monkey'd around with the clock, managed to get it to 24hr, but couldn't get rid of the am/pm. I'm assuming there's a bit of code that needs to be commented out?

There may be a better way but to get rid of AM/PM, open up the widget.html file in the iOneWeather theme (or in the new uploaded themes that combined everything into one theme, just open the iOne theme and open the widget.html file). Scroll down until you find the following:
function amPm ( )
{
var currentTime = new Date ( );
var currentHours = currentTime.getHours ( );
// Choose either "AM" or "PM" as appropriate
var timeOfDay = ( currentHours < 12 ) ? "AM" : "PM";
//Convert the hours component to 12-hour format if needed
currentHours = ( currentHours > 12 ) ? currentHours - 12 : currentHours;
// Convert an hours component of "0" to "12"
currentHours = ( currentHours == 0 ) ? 12 : currentHours;
// Compose the string for display
var currentTimeString = timeOfDay;
// Update the time display
document.getElementById("ampm").firstChild.nodeVal ue = currentTimeString;
}
Delete or comment out all of this. Thats it.
On the calendar, some people have this problem and it pisses me off that i cannot figure out why. Anyway, you just need to adjust some html. In that same widget.html file, scroll down to the bottom until you see this:
dotime();
//end -->
</script>
<table style="position: absolute; top: 135px; left: 182px; width: 320px; height: 480px;" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" align="left" border ="0" bgcolor="transparent">
<tr><td rowspan="4" width="24" valign="top"> </td></tr>
<tr><td height="295" valign="bottom" border="0">
<style type="text/css">
.main {
width:115px;
}
.month {
background-color:none;
font:bold 11px Helvetica;
position:absolute;
top:251px;
left:41px;
color:black;
}
Now you will need to adjust here a few times. Where it says table style=, adjusting where it says top:135px moves the entire calendar up and down on the screen. Keep that in mind. Now where it says td rowspan="4", this moves the days and days of the week independent of the month. To move it further down or lower than the month, increase this value. But this may also move it off the page so you need to adjust the month position as well. Where it says .Month below it you will see top:251px. Reduce this number to move the month higher or above the days.
Like I said you will need to adjust this some to get it right. Sorry for the inconvenience and when i figure out why this happens i will let you know.

Thanks for that - much appreciated.
With regards to the days overlaying the month, if the weather theme is enabled, the calendar is fine - but with no days shown, the problem only seems to occur when the iOne theme is enabled as well (either above or below the weather theme in winterboard).
Oddly, I didn't have this problem when I originally installed the theme...only after I restored and re-jailbroke my phone.
Anyway, it's just one of those things - annoying, but it's not going to kill me :-)

Hey dharris, got everything working expect for one thing. Maybe someone else can help me out if your too busy. Anyway, on the right side of the main screen where you have Home, Media, Apps, Games and System. My issue is this, I've renamed the blank icon called Stacks.png to Favs.png since this is the name of the folder in Categories I called it, this puts an invisible icon there. So when I click on where it says "Home", it does what it's suppose to do and opens up my Favs with apps I've placed in there. However, the background (black) is not present. I've ssh to the following directory, private/var/stash/Applications and then I click on the Favs.app folder, I see the background.png file in there in it's the common black image, but this image doesn't show up when I click on Favs from the home screen, it's just invisible. Any help?

Jim,
You almost have it quite right. You DO NOT want to rename the stacks to Favs, Apps, etc. Leave those as is. You need to undo that and change back to Stacks, Stack2, etc. Disable stacks in mobilesubstrate. You are using Categories. Instead, make sure the Categories you created are aligned properly on your homescreen (Favs category first, media second, etc). Then lastly, go into the their .app files like you did (in /stash/Applications) and change the icon.png files in each to a transparent one - ie, you can take the calendar.png icon from the Icons folder, copy it, rename it to icon.png and replace it in each of the five category folders you created (so replace icon.png in Favs.app, Apps.app, media.app, games.app, system.app).
Cool?
And then, if you want to use the background i included with the theme, replace the black background.png with the blue background.png that comes with the theme. Again you have to do in each .app category.
