    I'm wanting custom backbgrounds and stuff for my text messagging on my iphone.

    First of all, welcome to modmyi.com

    this is not the proper place for your question on the forums. However I can tell you that it is not possible to change the background on OS 3.0

    to change the chat bubbles is a possibility. They belong in a theme folder with the structure of /xxxxx.theme/Folders/ChatKit.framework/

    the balloons are then named Balloon_1.png and Balloon_2.png.
