Thread: Is A Customized Spinning Wheel (SWOD) Possible?

Default Is A Customized Spinning Wheel (SWOD) Possible?
Does anyone know how to customize iPhone's spinning white wheel (when the Iphone is shutting down)? And/or the white Apple logo when the iPhone is starting up? I asked about this two years ago and was advised to walk away from the concept. I'm wondering if some brave soul has made the attempt in the meantime. I'm most interested in turning the white spinner into one that spins through many colors, like the colored SWOD on MAC OS 10.X.X.

I've heard that changing the spinner would require locating and changing scores on png file, but surely someone has made the attempt. All reports welcome, of both success and catastrophe.

    Thanks in advance.

    Default Thanks!
The color is spot on in beachball, but I'm looking more for the same rotating rectangles as the white loader, not a solid disk.

Check out cydia. I have this Mac OSX theme. It has the spinning disk.
It wouldn't be to dificult to just overlay the color from the disk onto the original "lines" (idk what to call them)

Have checked out Cydia and discovered a number of Mac OSX themes. Which one are you pointing to? Thanks.
