A icon overlay i made a few months ago that i decided to use now on my new iPhone 3GS ....so i figured i would build a thread dedicated to the icons and people that want to use them and share new ones they create for the set ....i have uploaded the few i have made and the PSD for everyone to make their own icons.

the ideal resize of the icon you want to place into the overlay is 58x58 , and your finished icon should be 60x60 , so start creating and i'll also upload new ones as i find time to add to the set.

P.S. don't forget to hit the Thanx button to all the icon creators

can someone help me here. i dont know how to open two things in photoshop like the psd and the icon i need and what size do i need to make it?

Thanx soto806 ...i'll be making some icons tonight when i am at my desktop PC

Pinoykid - just double click the PSD and it should open your Photoshop prog. then drag and drop your original icon you want to transform into Photoshop, then resize the original icon to 58x58 and drag it onto the PSD and make sure the icon is under the frame layer , then move it to a clean fit and save to your desktop as a .PNG 60x60

also a small tip for everyone is to use the eraser tools to clean up the edges of the final icon to remove any parts showing past the overlay/PSD to give it a sharp clean look

when i try to make fast and furious icon the fast and furious is locked. how do i unlock an icon? oh and how do i get rid of edges

not sure what you mean by a locked icon ??
i use the eraser tool in photoshop to clean up the edges
