release might be for 3.1 only.... and might also be for donaters only..

Donaters will definately get a release on 1. - 3. August... that's next weekend

So I'm a bit of a noob, but learning quickly.

I read the whole post, and I'm very excited for this theme. Also about the prospect of a seamless, working horizontal status bar. There was a InfoPlist.strings file mentioned before that supposedly works, but where do I put it? Previous instruction said replace the one in "system\library\CoreServices\Springboard.app\Engli sh.lproj", but there is no file with that name in that directory.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

just put it there, no replacements needed

Question is, why NOT only available to donators?

As a themer, I will say that these suckers take a LOT of time... most of that time could've been donated to doing something to MAKE money.

He obviously won't release the theme as a paid theme, and stated he wouldn't. So it's not like he's trying to profit from this and wants to contribute to the community - but if he wants some compensation and there are those who have money to spare and appreciates his work and wants to get in on the early bird action, then I say - why not?

If anybody is really interested in this theme please donate.

This theme will self install completely(I hope)
Only donaters will get a beta
All donaters will get updates

All other users have to wait and I don't know for how long..

I'm pretty sure I will wait till 3.1 for the final release.

People who donate after this weekend will get the latest beta immediately.

I still want to know if you were able to get spotlight to also be landscape.

It'd be really cool if you could add an icon for it in the status bar. just sayin...

I plan on donating but it will probably be last minute.

@Pear-phone This theme is worth at least $20, and I would be willing to pay it when its ready. I think you should put it in the cydia store.

(yes this beta will have a few bugs)

SPOTLIGHT is not landscape and not themed at all

no keyboards (yet)
no in-app mods (yet)

NEWS:

I will make 2 betas

one for 3Gs users and one for 3G users

all donaters will recieve both versions and all updates...

3G (2G) version will not include the widgets, but will (might) look alike.

the final 3G(2G) version might include some widgets.

i might add a 3rd version for 3G and 2G donaters next week, including a small version of the widgets)

I'm still optimizing this to make it as much user freindly as it can get.

ONLY THE 3Gs will be released on 3. August 2009
