Thanks to badboybill who spent "i don't know" how much time creating these actions in photoshop... saved me a lot of hassle... and it works perfectly fine after i updated his actions to fix the problems others and i where having. Thank you badboybill for such an awesome photoshop action file(s)

you have to hide the layer style deep layer in photoshop. You could also follow my tutorial on the page before this one. All credit to badboy, I just tweaked the actions a little to make things a little simpler and fixed the number two button that some where having problems with. Check the tutorial on the page before this one.

It is really a great dialere dude . . . hey if its not to much trouble , I have not been able to get the black out of my number 2 in the dialer I made , if I send you the image you think you can do me a big old favor and make it for me ??

Hmm... not sure... your right not dummie proof (just kidding)... maybe i need more pictures... heres one that might help you with the blacked out #2 button though...



Oh yea there still is a few glitches with the keypad. The one when you try do a conference call that someone mentioned earlier in this thread... I just found a new one too or either i can't remember reading about it... when you have a missed call and your phone is on the keyboard you wont see the badgegraphic showing the number about recent. This is weird because the badgegraphic shows above the voicemail though. This just gets more and more fun... You can edit just about everything after you run the action. Heres a shot of my dialer.

If my memory serves me right its in

var>root>library>customize>dialerimages

Or something of that sort. I'll check it out tonight and edit if necessary

you cannot use the psd file that is in the EASY DIALER download..

i used MR SPARKLE's old school dialer download and just cropped my background to fit each part the same as the old school dialer.

i used the easy dialer download just to make the dialer portion of the keypad screen.

you don't it's just a picture (*.jpg, *.png, *.bmp etc,etc) easy dialer is and excellent action created in photshop. you just load your picture crop it to the correct size. open the *.psd file that comes with easy dialer and run through the photoshop actions. everything is automated

and actually i haven't been able to load the dialer in 1.1.1 but it definently works in 1.0.2. loading dialers is a "customize.app" process but you have to manually put it on the iphone.....

I don't think its working on 1.1.1 i have tried to replacing it 10 times and it still goes to the default one. Unless i am putting it in the wrong place. And i am following the directions on the tutorial. Can some one post a location where it should go?

It doesnt work on 1.1.1. Im still trying to figure it out. The only clues i get are from installing the aquowah dialer for 1.1.1

Downloaded-->created-->moved to Applications/MobilePhone.app-->restarted-->NOTHING!!!
Same original skin




Any help???

I've got through Photoshop ok and produced my new BarDialer_Sel.psd, but when I uploaded it to Applications/MobilePhone.app as instructed the new design didn't appear even though I've done the reboot. Could you or anybody else please tell me what have I done wrong here? Thanks in advance!
