I particularly won't use it, but *only* because the artwork files for the keyboard are the ones I don't dare to mess with. There are other themes out there with wonderful designs, but I've always kept the original one.

Having said that , I think it'll make a great addition to the theme.

Oh and don't worry about keyboard instability when I do release it, it will work I promise. I've been passing the file back and forth between my iPhone to test it out and U haven't encountered a single problem (knocks on wood).

Just curious, how are you able to have a 5-icon dock... are you running 1.1.3?

the new customize and freeboard allow you to have a 5 icon dock. you must install customize and then install freeboard. ive been using it for about 3 weeks now with no problems.

freeboard doesn't fix the 80+ app limit yet. only summerboard does. if you have more than 80 apps dont install freeboard yet.

well i still have SMBprefs on my iphone as well and it still works so i guess it doesnt "replace" it. it just allows you to use 5 icon dock in exchange for not having more then 80 apps on your phone. I have like 30 so I am using the 5 icon dock and loving it!

Ya I have around 30 apps so that isn't a big deal for me, but I just tried it and it was really glitchy.. a whole bunch of stuff wasn't working (ie. the wallpaper app icon was embedded into the top left corner)

really weird. i installed customize, rebooted, installed freeboard, rebooted, enabled 5 icon dock, rebooted and then it worked. i have no glitches at all so thats weird..but i really want a 5 icon dock

maybe a programmer around here would like to make a small utility to install icon/theme updates instead of always having to download entire theme files for those of us not techy enough to add individual file updates manually?

I won't be able to do it today but I'll start working on it tomorrow and the next time your on messenger I'll work with you.

You have to ssh into your phone (or use AFPd preferably) and goto this directory:

>var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes/eGlass_v3/Icons

and drop the files there, then respring your springboard.

Here's a look at the keyboard in action. I had to make some modifications to accommodate Apple. Unfortunately, it is impossible (at least that's what I have found) to change the font used for the "space" "return" and ".?123" text. Therefore the outside buttons have to be black or the text is barely visible.
