Sorry everyone for the delay w/ the moon phase me and radarlove were working on I got sidetracked but I'll release what I have by tomorrow evening okay. (radar if you see this sorry about the delay)

Partie please release yours as well cuz yours is diff than what radarlove and me were working on (so don't stop what you're doing) Variety is the spice of life...

Ok.... As long as your ok with it. To be honest I was just f'n around with this theme. Didn't want to highjack your thread. By the way, any pic's of Doreen floating around. Would like to see what she looks like. Ha!

And of course I'm okay w/ it I really take it as a compliment when I see the way you guys are customizing my theme to suit your styles. And you're not highjacking the thread your breathing some life into it. So go for it I see a few ppl waiting for "your" stuff.

I'll get busy today too on mine...

I am absolutely LOVING this theme, but I have a few questions:

1. Where can I find the animated video backgrounds to use?

2. Today, there isnt a cloud in the sky, but the wallpaper says partly cloudy. Is it just that the Yahoo feed is off? Im guessing so, but was just curious.

No actually I "love" it! On my phone I have your Categories, your phone, media and top status bar notification icons and I especially love your UIImage pop up that looks just like a transparent vista window. Excellent work ebl I'm really enjoying it. Thanks again.

Don't worry when I wrap my moon phase theme up I'll be sure to remove your image directories as they are on my phone for my own personal use. All I'm releasing is my overlay weather images and new weather walls tonight so everything else will be stripped out.

Sorry scott I didn't mean to ignore you I have tunnel vision or something (I only seem to see what is directly in front of my eyes)

Are you talking about the animated .gifs or that old vista vid?

Well you got it exactly like the real thing cuz when I tap on the start button and that start menu pops open I get excited! hehe
(yes I'm strange) but you got it to perfection for sures...

It will be today (I'm working on it now) but spamdumpster and radarlove may want to edit some of the script to fine tune things since I've noticed some delay on when the moon phase vs the weather wallpapers sync. So for approx 15-30 mins sometimes at night you will have a black sky w/ animated twinkling stars and a Sun until the moonphase script kicks on and the Moon pops on and replaces the Sun okay, but I'll go ahead and notify radar and spamdumpster to let them know about the release as well...

I did actually spot something that ran a ticker script but I forgot where, let me go peek around and try to jolt my memory.

The issue is that you can only run it w/ certain themes since at times all these diff scripts running on the springboard like to go to battle over who will take charge. But let me go see if I can find it again...

Jay sorry I can't find it and I don't want to get sidetracked or I won't get this moonphase out for you guys today, but it was a lil ticker script that ran off of winterboard and displayed whatever news or rss you configured into the .js file to ticker a one-line display across on your springboard. If I spot it again I will grab the link next time.

I remembered Jay it was not off a site that I spotted it at it was on Cydia it's called "iWBRss" you just need to add your fav sports rss feed into the config .js file okay. You can find it off of iSpazio.net's Source. Here's a ss off of Cydia for you. Notice the one-line feed on the bottom it's small but if you do alil tweaking you can make the text larger and postion the feed anywhere on your springboard etc.

Alright as promised, first off it was radarlove who persisted to have the moonphase so all credit goes to him and Spamdumpster for the MoonPhase script.

This is (3) parts which was the only way it seems to work so put them in this order in Winterboard.

1. Overlays (The current weather condition icon such as rain, snow, lightning etc that lays on top of the moon or sun)
2. MoonPhaseWithSun (This will feed the moonphase at night and a static sun during the day that lays on top of the wallpaper)
3. MoonPhaseWeatherWalls (These are the weather walls that will display as your wallpaper and show weather conditions in the sky and day and night)

I have only the clear and fair night wallpapers that will animate w/ twinkling stars (I've got no time to try to animate this whole monster)

Hi Doreen,
Thanks again, your theme looks awesome.

For the Live Moon Phase I will keep on working to get the time sync a bit better. I know I am on the right track to get it to sync closer to the yahoo source.
May need to get some more input on it.
