Instead of writing my paper, I ended up doing this. Not sure how I feel about it though. Something is off.

I had this theme installed but I switched over to another theme since then. I'm having a problem with my calendar though. For some reason the image is still there and I'm not sure how to change it. I had edited the .plist file a while back in order to change the size of the font of the days of the week (before doreen updated it), so maybe that's the problem? I'm not running any other themes so that isn't the reason. Anyone know why this is happening?

Averageman: google "vista globe icon" under images and my map icon should be on the first page. The font used above is Enviro.

Doreen, do you have them separate? One png for the phone and one png for the dock? I want to use Photoshop and tweak it a bit to see what I can come up with.
That looks very cool. Maybe it is just me or the screenshot but is the digital clock color the same as the text dock icons? They look a little off to me and if so, I would suggest changing the text dock icons color to match your digital clock font color.Last edited by southfrisco; 02-14-2009 at 04:14 PM.

You are right, the color is not the same because actually the numbers on the clock are gif images and the text on the dock icons are edited with photoshop. I did the dock icons a couple of days ago and the clock today. I might do the text on the icons white or the same color as the clock. Don't know yet.

Well my Digital Clock is static meaning it won't move with the sidebar, like my SlideShow and Mail icon even though I have working five icons in my dock. So if you are using the LiveTime widget, this will not work for you.
I do use transparent icons on my following springboard pages this way my Digital Clock and SlideShow won't get covered up.Don't be shy if I helped you use the Thanks button, I do it.

Fix Calendar
I had this problem but what I did was delete (or change the name) of the info.plst in the theme you are using with VistaBliss. Not the one in VistaBliss! SSH into the 2nd Theme folder you are using. If you can read the info.plst file and you should see it says something about the calendar. Delete that. Reboot.Good Luck

Can you post how you did that please?

I was wondering if someone can please help me out by figuring out how to use it on its own as a widget instead of Liveclock if possible? Below is a picture of the clock I use and what is in the widget.html. I tried to use this clock in the html file but I can't get it to show up. Please help.
Code:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <html><head> <base href="Private/"/> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/> <style> body { background-color: none; margin: 0; padding: 278px 0 0 0; height: 480px; width: 320px; } </style> </head> <body background="widget.png"> <table style="position: absolute; top: -145px; left: 230px; width: 320px; height: 461px;" cellspacing="" cellpadding="" align="center"> <td height="40" border="0"> <img src="dg8.gif" name="hr1" width="19" heigth="34"><img src="dgb.gif" name="b1" width="0.9" heigth="34"><img src="dg8.gif" name="hr2" width="19" heigth="34"><img src="dgc.gif" name="c" width="7.4" heigth="69"><img src="dg8.gif" name="mn1" width="19" heigth="34"><img src="dgb.gif" name="b2" width="0.9" heigth="34"><img src="dg8.gif" name="mn2" width="19" heigth="34"> </td></table> <script type="text/javascript"><!-- start dg0 = new Image(); dg0.src = "dg0.gif"; dg1 = new Image();dg1.src = "dg1.gif"; dg2 = new Image();dg2.src = "dg2.gif"; dg3 = new Image();dg3.src = "dg3.gif"; dg4 = new Image();dg4.src = "dg4.gif"; dg5 = new Image(); dg5.src = "dg5.gif"; dg6 = new Image();dg6.src = "dg6.gif"; dg7 = new Image();dg7.src = "dg7.gif"; dg8 = new Image();dg8.src = "dg8.gif"; dg9 = new Image();dg9.src = "dg9.gif"; dgc = new Image(); dgc.src = "dgc.gif"; dgz = new Image();dgz.src = "dgz.gif"; dgb = new Image();dgb.src = "dgb.gif"; function dotime(){ theTime=setTimeout('dotime()', 1000); d = new Date(); hr= d.getHours()+100; mn= d.getMinutes()+100; se= d.getSeconds()+100; if(hr==100) {hr=112;am_pm='am';} else if(hr<112){am_pm='am';} else if(hr==112){am_pm='pm';} else if(hr>112) {am_pm='pm';hr=(hr-12);} tot=''+hr+mn+se; if (se%2==0){document.c.src = 'dgz.gif';} else {document.c.src = 'dgc.gif';} document.hr1.src = 'dg'+tot.substring(1,2)+'.gif'; document.hr2.src = 'dg'+tot.substring(2,3)+'.gif'; document.mn1.src = 'dg'+tot.substring(4,5)+'.gif'; document.mn2.src = 'dg'+tot.substring(5,6)+'.gif'; } dotime(); //end --> </script> </body></html>

Well after hours of tweaking, finally made a stand alone Moon Phase widget. Credit goes to Zetetic Apparatchik for the original weather widget and Gary C. Martin for the moonphase images.
It does go beautifully with the night skyline of SF. I also redid the sidebar as a fixed bar since 3 of my widget where static anyway, no sense moving just part of it. The working dock icons got a overhaul also, now they are transparent too. Here is a screenshot:
