Yeah it was, but ebl still hasn't put it up. He around 5 he was working on the SBSettings still.

this may have already been thought of, but i was just sitting here thinking about diff ideas for weather widget, and then though hey what if i make my weather app icon a blank icon and position it over my weather widget when i click on the weather widget it will open my weather app.. lol..

So just in case no one thought of that, there ya go.. east easy easy, and it doesnt even add an extra icon so you can keep your clean 2 row springboards

and for those people that have there weather icon on there springboard, if your crafty enough you can make a new icon set for the weather widget to match the icon styling of the perfect storm icons, and then just use a blank icon (just the glassy part with no design in it) and you will have a live weather icon that changes.

Now the only problem with that is if you have more than one springboard page the weather will stay on all of them..

add--- now thinking about it more and more.. you can use this same idea for your clock, so if your like me and have a clock icon on your spring board and have the clock widget with the digital and/or analog clock you can place place a blank icon in place of your clock icon and move it over your digital or analog clock so when you click those it will open your clock app.. :0

That's actually how I have mine. I got the idea from the Mac OS X Add-Ons thread. The weather widget opens my weather, the clock on the right opens my alarm clock, stop watch etc and I would do the same thing for the calendar on the far right but I can't get the day display to disappear when I place a blank for my calendar. I find that it basically eliminates the need for three icons on my next page or in the second row...

troy i think i can help you out.. in the perfectstorm info.plist the string for calendardisplayicon just add color: transparent to the string and that should take care of that problem

Remove the Wallpaper.html from the Perfect Storm folder... That should do it.

i did something similar to this weather thing. not an exact solution but i had the idea. i just made the weather icon transparent and positioned it on my first page in the top left...so when i hit the weather icon on the WAD widget it would simply open weather

ok another question I couldn't sift through the pages to find.

I have the download for the BB Storm hard icons...where do I put them and how do I know what icons they are controlling...obviously the answer button is the phone...but what's the back button, the other button and the power off button control or what not?

u can make them whatever you want. I attached the file below just incase u don't have the right one. Just make 4 copies of the blank icons and rename to whatever you want, Phone.png etc. And then just place the icons whereever u want over the harddock. There are instructions attached to the file.

I also didn't make that file below, just reposting it.

what ever the label is on your springboard is the exact way you need to label it for the icon. for instance ireal sms shows up on my springboard as "iRealSMS" so when i make an icon for it i need to name it "iRealSMS.png" make sure you do it EXACTLY the same as what the label is on your springboard

The way i have mine set up is the background has the clock and everything in it, so in widget.html you have to set your background as blank.png, and then you need to add any type of blank image into your widget/clock/faces folder and then in widget.html change "clock face" to whatever you named it in your faces folder.

But here you go, and thanks for the background where i got this idea from..lol just used a little layer masking and relocate the skull.. Also you will have to adjust the positioning of your clock hand.. i believe i have mine set from -7px (from the widget file i uploaded for you) to 1px, you may have to play with it.

Which file do I adjust to change the position of the clock hands? You mentioned adjusting it from -7px to 1px. I just can't seem to find where it is. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I found it in the Top.css folder. I always forget where that crap is. Now I need to find how to move the day display over to the right some under my digital clock. Here we go again!!! LOL

If you have already gotten iRealSMS 2.0.7 you know that it will accept the winterboard skinned keyboard, however the quick reply uses a "transparent" Keyboard. Therefor you will need to add these files to the UIImages folder so that your Storm KB shows properly within quick reply....

yeah you add the dock.png in the perfectstorm folder and then put the 4 icons you make into the icons folder that's in the perfectstorm folder

thats exactly what i was talking about.. thats what i will set up, but i was also saying you could do it for the actual icon to.. so if you like to have an actual weather icon like the rest of the storm icons you simply just put a blank storm icon for you weather app and then position your weather widget to underlay the blank storm icon
