Remove the Wallpaper.html file from your Perfect Storm folder.

Try using the zip code instead... If you use YahooWeather as the source then you use the zip code. If you use AccuWeather then use the city and state.

Can someone help me with the wide icons?

I made the 4 docked icons 80 x 107, then 95 x 127 (pixels), and i did everything right with the width, they are covering the screen's width, but the height is messed up, they are sinking into the bottom of my springboard, even though i did like the directions said and i put them at the bottom of the canvas. Can someone please help?

NVM, i got the undocked icons and docked icons mixed up...the ones on the top are the ones that should be on the bottom, and the ones on the bottom are the ones that should be up top. I just put my bottom icons above them and it looks fine now

Wow troy I hooked uploaded my widget setup and you kind of just took credit for it. It's all good though. I put a lot of work on getting that positioned just right. Glad people are digging it though. It's awesome to see everyone doing my write yp.Hopefylly it will shed some lighjt on some poeple how much work cAn go into a theme.

I'm lovin all the layouts of this theme though. And troy you got some sick wall papers. Very nice.

can anyone help me with a PS problem....i've been following the guide on how to stretch the icons but for some reason PS won't let me move the leftmost icons only one px from the edge. it always goes from the very edge, to two px's from the edge....when i go two px's from the edge i can see the boarder and it really annoyed me so i went directly on the edge, but the spacing worked out so i can just barely see the edges of the left icons on the next SB page.



edit: ok well the screen shots don't really show it, and yes i know the vlingo icon is slightly off...but thats because i attached the image above the icons to it so i could have a wallpaperish look on the two row screen and a totally black look on the four row pages. (not nearly as noticeable on the phone.)

even only 1px from the edge, there was still enough of a border to drive me crazy (im super ocd) so what I did is draw a black line on the far left side of my 2 far left icons. now it looks great. you could try that

(I used gimp, not photoshop, and that allows you to easily move 1px. It shows the coordinates of your move so you know when youve made the right move in both directions. very easy)

I do have a small request; is there any way that you can post up just the keyboard portion of the theme? Just because I like the standard icon set on the SB.

Can anyone assist me in setting this up for my theme? I am not using the PerfectStorm theme, I am using another theme highly modified by myself. I just want the clock and the time displayed above the clock widget. I do not want the weather or date to show up. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? I have the zip file posted a few pages back for the clock widget. Where does it go?

thanks, yeah the zooming in until it let me move one px worked, but you're right, i went from having a white edge on the right to one on the left. (dont get me wrong suby, my sb looks leaps and bounds better than it did with PS1.0 icons.

i'm not sure that ocd enough to go and do the black line, but who knows...right now i just want to get a really good wallpaper image attached to an icon on my first page so i can keep the wallpaper black on the four row pages.

you can remove the wallpaper from the pages that arent the first? how?

Does anyone know how to move the actual clock face on the widget down? I was using the original, and I had put "iStorm" in the banner, but with Troy's file, the clock covers up the banner. Any ideas?

All you have to do is mess with the style sheets. Go to your widget WAD folder then to the widgets folder then to sb stylesheets and open up top.css in any text editor you choose.. Alll you have to do is increase the pixels from the top for the clock face and clock hands. Remember to move them all the exact same pixels.. Also i have the background lined up right at the top so it might not look right if you just move the clock its self. Just play around with those settings till you get what you want .. All i would do is make a small change upload and re spring till i got what i wanted.

its all good brother. The only reason my write up leaves you with a white border on the left edge of the springboard is, because thats the way ebl made his icons. And i didnt want to just move it over on px to get rid of it because i needed to keep the proportions equal so there was no gaps.. Im sure Ebls new release is going to be sweet with the new icons.. cant wait.

Hey sorry about that bro!!!! I meant in no way to take credit for your hard work and I should have mentioned your name when I uploaded that widget. I was in a hurry and it didn't even cross my mind. So, any one in the future, Subywrex is the stud that uploaded the widget a while back and I just slightly altered it to my liking... My bad.

Anyone out there use stacks? im thinkin about makin a dock that will allow stacks to be used... i just hate having more than one spring board page.. i wish sbsettings a lowed more docked programs i would be content with that
