sorry guys called it an early night, what i'll do is just make the labels myself.. What i will do because everyone has there own setup they would like, i will do a write up on how to modify the existing icons (as what i did) so they will stretch.

I will also include the speaker icon if you guys choose to use it for your settings

Ok everyone, attached is the speaker icon and the wordpad doc on instructions.

I want to stress that, this may be difficult for some and not for others. Also i am not a pro with photoshop so some of my methods you may not agree with, Just read the entire thing and you may now how to do it better through your own ways.

This is also my first write up, and i did not pay attention to crammer or spelling. Also being that it is my first write up it may be confusing and not to some of your likings. By all means if your better at it than me, go ahead and write one up and upload it.

edit-- I want to add that in no way am i trying to take any credit for any of ebls hard work. I am just super impatient and instead of sitting here and posting up when when when for 2.0 i came up with a solution till it came out, because the boarders were driving me absolutely crazy..lol

ok well i have finished with what i am going to do today.. this is just a temp fix till ebl comes out with his final release..

Right now till i figure it out i have to run no undocked icon labels just because of the settings icon in the upper left..

and yes, the speaker icon in the upper left is the settings icon, so if you click it, it will go to settings..

If by popular demand anyone wants this settup i can post how i did it.. or you can just have the same screen config as i do.

I think u have the icon setup almost like mine..

the trick is.....

You have to custom make the icons on the outter left and outter right to hit the end... then u have to customize the inner left and inner right to make contact.. looks like ur trying to step on PerfectStorm 2.0 lol.. its ok ..2.0 has a icon template update and more goodies...

Im sure your is much better ebl I hope you know how many hours i spent trying to figure this out after you had said you figured it out with out a wallpaper trick. I cant wait to have 2.0 i know i will be using it instead of my edit of your theme.

Just thought i would post up something for people to try in the interim till you get 2.0 out on the streets.

Really appreciate the work you put into this, i know how frustrating and time consuming this can be.

also going back to a topic on this thread a while ago, i think there is two differnt icon sets for the storm. because on my way to hollywood the othder day i noticed that the billboard with the storm and the bliss background the icons were completely clear glass effect, and then ill look online and they seems to be shaded on other backgrounds..

Personally i think i will like the clear glass effect.. sooo clean..

here are 2 screenies using a part of the HTCperfectstorm theme (one of them i just used his background) not sure what i like more.. using my set up with the WAD widget, or using the HTC widget with the big clock.. what do you guys think?

your WAD widget looks INSANE!!!!! i love it! its totally perfect. i like how yours blends into the status bar. i might have to request your code on that one. im too lazy to code mine. hahaha plus im at work so that doesnt help either. but the first one for sure im my opinion

i agree i like it with the WAD widget a lot better. I modified the clock color to go with a differt wallpaper, but i like it for the wallpaper i have on it as well, and to get it to blend you just have to modify the stylesheet im using the top stylesheet. Its all about the positioning.. i believe i had to go -px to acheive the look i wanted, ill go ahead and upload the file

I'm stuck at this part... I'm using Photoshop. Can anyone help walk me through this, please?

yeah that's what i was thinking, but aren't ebl's new icons just going to be stretched essentially so that they fit the full screen? Wouldn't the image and everything still be the same? If it is, why not just make the icons now?

spintek that reminds me i forgot to post the .info you need to replace in the theme because im sure if any of you have tried my write up the calendar date doesnt lign up correctly in the icon box. just a simple paddng string fixes it.. it will also make the font size smaller to fit in the box a lil better as does the info.plist fix just posted above me. ill post that up right now..

Also jsharpe. im sure if it was as simple as that he would have released them already. From what he has posted earlier on this thread is that he is re doing the icons to be more glass effect as you see on the screen shots of the storm with the bliss back ground. also its just not as simple as stretching icons.

You should go back a page and read my write up on how to make it work full screen. Might give you a better understanding.

heres the file.. i just put it in the same write up zip i made so if any new comers download it, everything is there.
