LockScreen Beach Weather Widget (Updated & Revised)
Hello
Thanks to Teknofrik for giving me permission to use his gorgeous weather icons I decided to to update the yahoo source for better accuracy and redo all my Day/Night Beach images and make a Lockscreen Weather Widget since I find that using the weather widget on the Lockscreen vs the Springboard produces better update accuracy. I'm working on a 24 hour one where the background images change each hour whilst the weather updates independently of each other but for now I painted the backgrounds for his weather icons. I focused "only" on the yahoo source for my theme so this "does not" support accuweather sorry...
Enjoy!

Looks awesome! Gonna test...
Edit: Remind me how to edit the configuration file.... ugh!.... where do I put in my zip code and do I have to put letters before it?
Ok nvm... figured out that part... now the next issue... I have the wallpaper set to 'false' yet my wallpaper is blank. So What settings do I need to have in to have my theme wallpaper show up on my springboard?Last edited by Poseidon79; 12-31-2008 at 06:39 PM.

Theme wallpaper goes to black?
This is a great lockscreen Doreen! I have used your Weather Panel theme for years on my HTC phones, so it's nice to see your work on the iPhone.
I have edited the location and applied the theme fine, but with the custom leopard theme I am using, this theme turns my home screen wallpaper to black. Where is the setting to fix this?
Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply you guys, as for using this theme on your Springboard (which I never tried it there) I believe you could just edit the config file:
var enableWallpaper = true
"and"
var stylesheetWall = 'BeachLockscreen' (then respring and you should be good)
as far as your issue 2manyphones all you need to do is make sure my theme is "not on top" of your Leopard theme but rather listed below it in the Winterboard themes folder okay.
as far as your issue Zehlek you need to be certain you are using either a zip code for USA locations "or" a location code for outside of the USA cuz simply typing in a city and state only works for accuweather and I did not have the time to do this theme from the ground up for accuweather only the yahoo source okay. sorry

I was able to take the "Folders" folder from "Un-Unlockable" and put them into the Beach.theme folder to remove the Slide to unlock text. I am sure there is a more high tech way, but that worked for me.

Sorry you guys I'm not editing this one anymore (cuz I'm working on my new theme) But all you need to do is open up the files and do some editing to customize it to your liking...
