ive been using this keyboard forever, i just swa the green glow modded one.
I cant tell, i was wondering it it has the letter pop-up also.
Or is it just like the original and has the glow instead of the stock letter?
May i ask how you change the key highlight color, i dont want the stock pop ups with the letters, just the glow.Last edited by Caleb_Soccer_Star; 01-17-2009 at 10:44 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

You cannot get the "Glow" in the .artwork files. I have made maddifications to the stock pop ups o my latest modification in the Perfect storm thread. The problem is that any transparency is distorted when packed into the .artwork files. That is why the pops are stock on my green release. Like I said i did make a modified on in the PS thread that is a beautiful blue with modified black and blue pops in the artwork.

Love the looks of this keyboard, and really want to try it out.
Unfortunately, I am having a small problem getting it on my iPhone.
JB 2.2.1 (5H11)
When I try to move the theme over to the them dir, it gripes about file name too long, or illegal characters.

I encountered this error once before, but it was just a long folder name, and a rename took care of it.
There are several files that seem to be too long here, and dont know if renaming is an option(or the only option).
Just curious if anyone else encountered this, and if so how they fixed. Or, if there is a way to fix it.
TIA

Yes, that was actually the first thing I tried. Its definitely the file name lengths inside the folder that are causing the issue.
Just curious as to why I cant do it, but apparently others have no problem.
EDIT: well on a whim, I tried a different method of sending it to the iPhone, and it worked!
Apparently there is a limitation of some sort when using Finder/Netatalk combination. I used Transmit to log in and it transfered just fine and am now using this wonderful keyboard!Last edited by renegad3; 02-16-2009 at 05:12 PM.

I've been using mrpunk's storm keyboard since it was first posted. While it is incomplete its nothing I can't live with (such as the space bar not being blue/glow like the other keys, etc), and I especially love that when you press a key it does NOT pop-up. I can't stand that about the stock keyboard! I mess up big-time with the keys popping up as I type. Its really irritating and one of the reasons I almost didn't get an iPhone so THANK YOU mrpunk for not having the keyboard pop-ups. I actually got my iPhone in January, three days after I got it I found this storm keyboard theme here and have been using it ever since... I did try a few others for maybe 5 minutes each and no one else makes a keyboard where the keys do not pop up at me, so it was adios to those. Well done and thanks for your hard work on this one.

^^^^why not just use ebl's keyboard from the PerfectStorm theme.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

I finally got permission from mrpunk2u to add the Storm Keyboard to my Stormy Black theme. Thanks mrpunk2u!
I've found a/the solution to make the Storm Keyboard compatible with iRealSMS (by making some extra UIImages)

........and iPhoneAddict (thanks mate!!) made some UIImages so the Storm Keyboard supports AZERTY, QWERTZ and QZERTY formats.
You can download the fixed Storm(y) (Black) Keyboard over here at #174.
Have fun!

Tried renaming the folder to Storm Keyboard.theme but still no luck.
