I have read these posts like a million times.
Is there something i can do to get this without photoshop like a standard theme so to say?
Would love it if something like that came to cydia.

Hey, Bear!
I have a problem with your calender widget. It doesnīt switch automaticly to the next day. The normal date on the left with the big number is working correctly. But on the right, the calender forcast doesnīt switch itselfs to the current date. After restart the iPhone itīs working. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Great work man...phone looks great.
If you only want to make small adjustments in size, just select the calculator layer in PS...go to "Edit/Transform/Scale" and tweak it. Otherwise here are .png's if you want to maintain detail in a larger form....just adjust the size by "Image/Image Size"

Rulez, I think that is an issue with all calendar widgets that are placed on springboard. I believe it works on the lockscreen properly because it gets resprung everytime you wake your phone up by hitting the home button. Maybe someone smarter than me has figured out how to get it to update on its own. I haven't had time to play with the "configureme.js" for calendar yet. I'll look into it and see what I can do.
Jabb,
That looks great man... you know I'm partial to the Blackout look
Great idea with the folders and settings widgets! If you want the folders and settings above the Dashboard mask just move the layers for those widgets above the Dashboard layer ( in Photoshop ) and they will look like they are on top...just like the calendar and weather.

Go to the Adobe website and download the 30 day trial....You really need a Photoshop type of app in order for you to make the widget backgrounds part of your wallpaper that you choose.
Do a search for Photoshop Trial or maybe Jabb can provide a link to where he got his 30 day trial.Last edited by Bear Hunter; 11-03-2008 at 07:35 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Thanks Bear, will share my Screeny, when all is done and works perfectly. One more think: Is it possible to put links on the layer? So, for example, if I click on google, it opens the google-Website? Or did you do that already and i have misunderstood it? If I click on the lyer, it opens a blank Safari site...

It opens up a blank safari site because you are using blank webclips instead of blank apps to position your visible icons.
yes it is absolutely possible for it to open up a google site: I use the google taskbar to open up my Map application buy using a transparent icon and positioning it underneath the search bar widget. If you want to use it to open up google....just go to the google page you want and add it to your homescreen. Position the webclip icon underneath the google search bar widget, or move the search bar widget where you want it, then go to the following path to make the webclip icon transparent.
/var/mobile/Library/WebClips/
Find the webclip you just saved...The folder will have a bunch of letters and numbers. look inside and find the "icon.png"
copy the webclip icon and open in Photoshop, adjust the transparency to zero and SSH the new transparent icon back into the path specified above.
I just made a modification to "calendar.js" Unfortunately I won't know if it works until tomorrow.. I think I can get it to update on its own in springboardLast edited by Bear Hunter; 11-03-2008 at 08:13 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

So to get this all to work I have to download Ultimate Leopard from the first post of this thread?

No you don't. You can manually make this theme with the information supplied in the package. I suggest people who are not really familiar with manual installations to download the Leopard UI first then apply mods since there seems to be some issues with some people getting it to work.
You need to tell me what size your current icons are, then I can do it for you.
You should also really download a trial version of photoshop so you can make the modifications to your exact specifications.Last edited by Bear Hunter; 11-03-2008 at 09:49 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Do you have a MAC? You do know that you can also adjust the size of an icon using the "Preview" application dont you? Here are the steps:
1. Open Preview
2. Open the icon
3. Go to "Tools" then "Adjust Size" and change it to 45 or 50 pixels depending on how it looks to you
Let me know
