Ok thanks Ill let you know if it works! And also I have a few other questions. How do I make transparant icons? And when I went to change my location on 6 day weather forcast, it changed it and it shows 2 of them now! One on top of the other but one is the 6 days before I edited it and the other one is my location

ok wait, a transparant icon is a blank??? I have those what do I do with them? I already made 12 to make it clear

EDIT: Ok so are there any more transparant apps I can download for either your backgrounds (like the one I am using), or for the origional? I cant really make them on my own I suck with Photoshop.

making a blank icon in PhotoShop is easy, making a blank app is different.

In photoshop hit file then new, then set width and height to 60 pixels, color mode rgb = 8 bit
and change the background contents to: transparent

then save as the app you wish to replace I'll use Cydia as this example, so you would save it as Cydia.png, to save as a png hit File then, Save As then, hit format find PNG in the drop down menu select it then hit SAVE
ssh the blank icon into your winterboard theme folder located /private/var/stash/theme.xxxxxx/yourtheme/Icons

to make blank apps

or you could download Ultimate Leopard 3.2 it has a folder named Extras inside that there is a folder named Blank Apps, so ssh into your iPhone/iPod and navigate to /private/var/stash/Applications and drag the blank.app/s to there

Just go into winterboard and make sure you have "no docked" and "no un docked" Icon labels checked. You might have to move those two to the top of the list in winterboard but most of the time, they are just not checked to start with.


I've done a little more modding and thought I'd share it. Not much to it, just photoshop and being bored but here ya go with the results:

I've placed blank icons for Winterboard, Phone, Youtube, Google Maps and Calculator to use the widget icons. Made an original wallpaper to go with it this time. Well, everything but the chick from Weeds is original. Just a tip to anyone that is going to do this with numerous blank icons: Always place the icons for each app where you are going to want them BEFORE you upload the black replacements to your phone. If not, you will be there for hours trying to find where you put the darn things..lol

Just wondering if this is theme and extras might ever make it into Cydia?
For the noobs and others that don't have the means or the skills but love this theme and would love to have it on their iPhone please consider the importance of making it available on Cydia!

On the iPhone Download from Cydia: winterboard, OpenSSH, SBSettings or BossPrefs (you will need the ssh toggle for BossPrefs)

Learn how to SSH

then follow the instructions in the first post of this thread if you get stuck just ask somebody will help
