Hey guys,
Re: Wallpaper
Open up the master OSX PSD file in photoshop. Go to the links for the wallpaper provided in the README file in the Wallpaper folder. Once you download the wallpaper open it up in Photoshop. Follow the directions in the README file to crop the wallpaper to correct size. Once you have done that simply drag the wallpaper into the Master PSD.
RE: Location for Weather: Open up "configureme.js" and change the location to your city and state
RE: Wallpaper not showing up. Once you choose which widget you want on your wallpaper (done by clicking the "eye" on the layers to the right in the Master PSD file) you go to file and save as "Wallpaper.png". Put "Wallpaper.png" into the path specified in the README file:
/Library/Themes/YOUR THEME
... For those still confused: Take a look at the example theme folder structure for manually applying a theme via SSH. Please read each README file within each folder.
...For those who are running a current theme (prior to this one). Deactivate your current theme in winterboard and manually put the example theme folder structure into your phone and copy the files explained in each folder. The other option as specified is to download Ultimate Leopard at the link provided in the Credits file and modify it according to the instructions I have provided in each folder.
Make sure you are putting the files exactly as specified in each README file for each item. Also if you have prior wallpaper.html that might have something to do with it. You probably won't be able to run your clock widget for example if one of my files go in the same place.Last edited by Bear Hunter; 11-02-2008 at 03:32 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Bear,
I can't seem to get the current weather forcast to show up? I followed instructions exactly and not there. Does it have to do with my wallpaper?
2 more questions...where do I put the blank apps? I'm using webclicps as blanks is that fine?
Also, how do i get that shaded box around the weather and calendar themes?
Thanks..Last edited by marcf; 11-02-2008 at 03:47 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I dont understand editing the Widget files, do we have to do that or is it already set up?

If your happy with how everything appears on my screen shots the only thing you need to edit is the "configureme.js" and put your city and state in so you get your weather and not mine.
The instructions that explain how to adjust the code to move the calendar or weather icons/forecast is only if you want to move the widget backgrounds in the Master PSD file.
In case there is still confusion:
These are the widget backgrounds.....they have to become part of your wallpaper.

Right now the code is set to display exactly where you see the calendar and weather widget backgrounds shown here:

If you move them because you want it somewhere else on your wallpaper you will have to make changes to the code as explained with pictures in the corresponding README file: This only applies to the calendar and weather The other widgets simply activate iphone applications or webclips. You will have to make a transparent icon for the application you want activated with the widget you choose and move the widget to where the app is located.

Blank apps or webclips are fine
The shaded box is the Dashboard Mask. It should already be selected in the Master PSD file. Just look to the right and you will see all the layers in the Master PSD file. I have labeled each layer so you know what it is. Just click the little box to activate it ( you will see a little "eye" ..that means it is visible. Then just save as Wallpaper.png and SSH it into your phone.
Always keep a copy of the Master PSD file so you can go back and modify things if you want to
That might be the zip code bud. If it says 23692 that's my zip, just put yours in.

Guys...the README file clearly states that the weather widget is composed of two weather themes. One is the 6 day forecast that is activated separately through winterboard. The other is Current weather that uses Myopia stylesheet and is embedded into your phone theme.
Each weather theme has a separate "configureme.js" file You must change the location in each "configureme.js" file
Here is what it looks like on the 6 day forecast "configureme.js"

Here is what it looks like on the current weather "configureme.js"

if you have already done this re-spring your phone It works...if it doesn't there can only be two reasons:
1. You are running some other .html file such as an analog clock or some other weather widget.
2. you do not have the files in the correct location. Please read all the README files.
Thing icon?
Guys when you open Photoshop look to the right...you will see this. This is where you click and choose which items you want displayed. Items displayed are represented by the little "eye" you see to the left of the layer. All layers are marked...just scroll up or down and click the little box to display the little "eye" and it will show up:

Ok...if I understand you correctly....the 6 day forecast is working...which is activated in winterboard
I assume you have a theme folder. FOR THE CURRENT WEATHER ONLY: Just to be clear...the current weather is not activated in winterboard...it becomes part of the phone theme and is activated when the phone theme is selected in winterboard.
The "lockBackground.html" file goes inside your theme folder (same place where your "wallpaper.png" is located)
The "Wallpaper.html" file goes inside your theme folder (same place your "wallpaper.png" is located)
Drag the "Private" folder into your theme folder.
In summary you will have the following "current weather" items inside your theme folder:
"LockBackground.html"
"Wallpaper.html"
"Private" Folder
All three are separate inside your theme folder as shown below:

So this is what is activated in winterboard: Current Weather is inside the Leopard theme itself and is automatically activated when Leopard is selected.

I really hope this helpsLast edited by Bear Hunter; 11-02-2008 at 06:12 PM.

marcf I'm right behind you and I've tried "everything" the six day works flawlessly but the current just will not work for me either...
Hi Bear I have the exact layout but it's not working, and I've also unchecked all other items in winterboard to make sure there is no conflict w/ any other themes but still it will not work. the only other thing I have not ruled out yet is Intelliscreen so I'm going to turn that off as well and check that out...Last edited by Doreen; 11-02-2008 at 06:08 PM.

Nope nothing is working however I now see that whenever I do a respring the current weather shows for a quick second "Loading..." and then all that loads is the six day and on top where the current should be it shows _o _ (some strange symbols)
