My phone is lagging like a halfdead moose after applying this add-ons..! No, it's not your fault Bear :P
But why is my phone lagging? Is it retard? Does anybody else experience this?

For those who are experiencing lag:
I don't know what you have in your folders, but the intent is to keep things you need in there...not necessarily a million backups of wallpapers, docks and other things. Honestly, I do not experience the lag to the extent that some are reporting. I may get a second or two for categories to open up...but that's about it. It may be because I keep what I need in my folders and make backups of other wallpapers, docks, etc on the computer. The theory applies to your categories icons....only keep in there what you are using as categories and make backups of what you think you may need in the future and apply as necessary:
Here is what my Leopard Folder looks like:

My categories icons folder is the same....only the icons that I am using...not a hundred other icons. Keep it to the minimum of what you are using:
1. The other item to look at is what you have set your calendar interval to update in "configureme.js" Set it to a sensible value.
2. Disable the second hand on the Analog clock...visit the webpage located in the credits on first page. It shows you the code you need to change to get ride of the second hand function.
3. Or get rid of the analog clock widget all together....and use some other useful widget to open up an application that you routinely use.
....That's about it. The Calendar widget does not self update yet...so that is really not using any resources.
Here is my current setup with a few tweaks. Dock reflection was made in PS. Black text under my Hard Drive was made with the HD.PSD I included in the Master PSD Download. I have templates for both white and black text. All you have to do is drag the HD you want to use on to it and save as .png and add to categories icons folder.

Here is the intent behind the use of "Spaces" as a category. Same background.png as the wallpaper in the main Leopard theme to replicate a second page. I will use this until "Stacks" gets updated to allow the display of only one icon in the dock....and hopefully a semi-transparent black mask as opposed to the current gray background.

And as posted before...addition of Black phone and Calc "Liberty Black" --- simple transfer of the phone and calc mods to "Bundles" folder in Leopard Theme folder.
Philing

Bear Hunter. Can you please edit this wallpaper to move the shadow or background and make it bigger to fit the calculator, dvd, ipod, google icons? I just need the shadow moved down and up and I tried with photo shop and it won't do anything. Thanks for all your help

Thanks man,
All the icons you see on my homepage were posted by Marc a few pages back. The folder icons can be found at devieantart.com. I proved a list of links to the exact site with the folders (also a few pages back)
Give me sec...and I'll see what I can do
If you downloaded the plug and play, it should include that wallpaper with all the widgets on there. If you downloaded the Master.PSD it should already be set with everything on there...just choose the wallpaper you want and save as "Wallpaper.png"Last edited by Bear Hunter; 11-07-2008 at 11:02 AM. Bear, I searched through most of this thread (it's getting kind of long), but my large day of the week and month on the left side of the calendar widget is missing (totally blank). I don't know what to manipulate to correct this.
Also, what do I have to change in order to move the temp from under the city name to be changed to go to the left of it? My city is Baton Rouge and because it is two names on top of each other it kind of squishes the temp on top of the 6 day forecast and looks messy.
Oh, one last thing. I'm using windows not mac and for some reason the black system theme you linked to for the black icons is not readable on my system. I am trying to change the icns to png, but I cannot even open it up no matter what program I am using. I guess there is no way to provide the icons already changed so I can use them in my theme?

1. Make sure you replace the "info.plist" from my download into your Leopard theme folder.
2. Make sure your calendar is not hidden by BossPrefs
3. Make sure your not looking at the calendar widget on a second page. Remember the Large Date and Day is the actual calendar Application and will not move when you scroll to a second page.
4. A lot of conflicts I have found is from people running lockscreen mods....disable that and see what happens.
If you have done all that open up the current info.plist in your Leopard theme folder and replace with this code:
Everything is set to display White Date and Lime Green Day.....Just so you know what you are looking at: If you want to change colors go to...Code:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>CalendarIconDayStyle</key> <string>position:absolute;margin-top:0px;width:79px;color: #000;font-size: 9px;font-weight: none;padding: 18px 0 0 ;border-center: 4px groove #555;text-align:center;border-top: 2px groove #555; color: #9ACD32; text-shadow: 0px 0px 0px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.7);</string> <key>CalendarIconDateStyle</key> <string>width:79px;height:79px;position:absolute;color: #FFFFFF;font-size: 47px;font-weight: bold;padding: 60px 0 0;text-align:center;text-shadow: 0px 0px 0px black;</string> <key>StatusBarContentsMode</key> <string>0</string> <key>UndockedIconLabelStyle</key> <string>color: transparent; text-shadow: Black 0px 0px 1px</string> <key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key> <string>color: transparent</string> <key>ComposeStoreIcons</key> <false/> </dict> </plist>
Java Script for Color Codes and make the following adjustments as shown below

Guys,
2 questions...
1st where does the com.apple.mobilephone folder go?
and the 2nd question here is probably a silly question, but I have to many blank apps on my phone, creating a 3rd and 4th page? Is there any easy way to know which ones are on those pages or is it just trial and error when deleting them??
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks..
Marc

Bear, I am using your plug n play leopard theme for winterboard. Theoretically the calendar should work as soon as I applied it in winterboard right? That's what I am saying, the large day/month and day/week are not there. I don't use bossprefs anymore I use SBsettings replacement. My calendar is in a categories folder. I took it out to and put it on the SB to see if it would make the calendar show up, but it did not.

If the month widget is showing up...everything is set up correctly. The "info.plist" that I posted must go in your "LEOPARD THEME FOLDER" not the Calendar theme. In order for the Actual Calendar app to display to the left. If you have an "info.plist" in the Calendar theme....take it out and put it in the right place.
Hope this helps

Dont need to delete blank apps if you don't want to, just hide them in BossPrefsLast edited by Bear Hunter; 11-07-2008 at 12:50 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
