Katra's Weather
Hello All,
I just installed this weather theme for the lock screen from Cydia. As per the instructions it says to edit your location in the configureme folder. I can't seem to edit anything when I open that up. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Any help, would be much appreciated.
Thanks..
Marc

You need an editing application, like text edit, dashcode or wrangler to edit the files

Should be able to open the file using Wordpad on your computer and edit away.

No, just open the file...goto the area marked as "location" or something along those lines and input either your zipcode or city, state...whatever it currently has there. There should be a comment next to that area telling you its for the location.

^^There are settings for placement inside the configureme file as well, take a look inside and you will see them.

Does any know how i would change the text location? I am trying to get the font bigger and everytime I change the font size the text goes into the "slide to unlock" area. I like where the font is I just need to bump it up a little so i can increase the text size.
Thanks
You have to use Winterboard to activate. Then it will show up. While charging the battery will also show up in the background but once you unplug it you will only get the weather information.
While charging I would like to be able to deactivate either the weather information or battery, don't care which. Anyone know how that can be accomplished?Last edited by crupp; 10-30-2008 at 10:25 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

if you just want the weather to show while charging.....what if you tired putting blank icons in for the battery png put them inside the weather theme folder and made sure you had it above any theme folder that had your current battery in...then if you didnt want the weather on the lockscreen any more but wanted your battery back all you had to do was turn the weather theme off in winterboard....
its just an idea im not using this lockscreen weather theme but it seems like it would work...let me know if it works......

Just wondering the details of what app you used and where you got it to make it work?
