Katra,
That sounds awesome. But I have one question, with your theme on my lockscreen right now, when I'm in a phone call, and I have call waiting come in, I can't press the two buttons in the middle of the screen, in other words.
I can only press the red ignore button at the bottom of the screen. The two that say hold call and answer, and I forget what the other one says. But it's just the ones in the middle. Someone else on this forum was having the same issue, but we never got any answers as to why. Have you expirienced this before? I love your theme, but I won't be able to keep it on if this keeps doing this. I have tried disabling everything else in winterboard, and I have found that when your theme is selected either by itself or with others it causes this to happen. I have also tried reinstalling it, but no luck on that either. Has anyone else experienced this also?

Looks great the only issue I have is that it covers the unlock part. I use to have the finger print now nothing there and you have to make a few guess swippes. Can this be adjusted slightlt to alow for the unlock box or slide to unlock?

Fan freakin tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Katra,
This is absolutely GORGEOUS! I can't even begin to say. It's everything that I tried to aspire to when I was using Ultimate Launch and Weatherpanel on my HTC Wizard!
You weren't kidding when you said that you would want to stare at your lockscreen for hours on end!
I was enjoying it so much that I didn't even realize that it was set to Boston and not Western PA! Easy fix, just like before!
Of course you are aware that the slidey bar is no longer visible, but no worries, it's easy enough to unlock without multiple swipes!
I also have had no problems answering calls either. Denying calls is as easy as hitting the lock button again.
NOW....
(i know, always tweaking am i)
You know what would be really REALLY cool?
Yes, I know animations are the epoch of this, but i was thinking along the lines of "5 day outlook". I was thinking right above where the slider bar is, or even over the slider bar.
WHO NEEDS A SLIDER BAR ANYWAYS??? AS LONG AS IT UNLOCKS WHEN YOU SWIPE!
I know, I know, it's alot to ask for in this amazing looking thing, but consider this:
Art is never finished... Merely abandoned ;-)
(that was a quote from Tony Stark in Amazing Spider-Man for all you comic geeks out there)
Never the less, again I say:
FAN FREAKING TASTIC!!!!
I wish i could do this sort of stuff!Herp a derp a derp a doooo!

Nice job. I loaded this on my iPhone it is superb. Thanks for making the font smaller it looks nice. Can't wait until the animated version. Good job guys. I actually think the tiles look nice on the phone. It would be cool if it made a rain sound, thunder sound, wind sound when you unlock your phone. That would be sick.

Incredible work! I LOVE IT... Can someone provide me details on how to change the location from Boston though? I'm not that knowledgable in modding so I would need details on how to do this. I'm not familiar with SSH or how to do it. If there is no other way than the SSH to do this, can someone break it down for me?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP ANYONE SHEDS FOR ME

It appears that after locking the phone, upon waking it onto the lock screen it will always refresh the weather. For someone that may be texting at a slow interval, for example me when I reply I lock the phone and put it back in my pocket, then when the reply comes in I will unlock and reply, lock and repeat... .it will refresh the weather every time. Kills battery. Is anyone else having this problem?
Just try this. Unlock your phone and go to the springboard.
Now hit the sleep button to lock it.
Now hit the home button to wake it up.
Does it refresh the weather?
if it does, now try it again, unlock to springboard, push sleep button, push home button.
Did it refresh again?
If it did, then that is a problem.
Kills the battery quick for those of us that reply and immediately hit the sleep buttoniRealSMS - your REAL native landscape SMS app on the iPhone

Hello guy's... im working hard on fixing a few bugs in the widget....

Some weather conditions don't call the appropiate icon.. trying to figure out why...
Thanks for all the feedback....
Also, as far as the widget reloading it self everytime you lock you screen... you guy's have to understand that this in HTML, and it's like saying, why does the page load everytime i go to "macthemes2.net" ..well thats the point ..it's supposed to load ...hope you guy's understand..
This widget as native app would be nice... and im working on that too...but this type of things take time...
Just keep checking back..

(forgot to quote this the first time around... My bad)
very specifically:
First install Boss Pref's Via Cydia
Open up Boss Pref's and then turn on "SSH" and then "WiFi"
Wait a minute for the wheels to start turning and then make note of your phones IP address for the WiFi.
Open up you SSH Client, which if you don't have, I use winSCP located right here:
http://winscp.net/eng/index.php
Install is pretty straight forward
Once WinSCP is is installed take that IP address from your phone and type it in Host Name, Port Number should be 22, User Name is Root (Be careful you don't delete anything, Root basically gives administrative mode which is a big to do in Unix/Linux Land. We Windows users are used to turning on our computers and being able to just be administrators. In Unix/Linux default logons are not Administrative, but instead a type of user account with different privileges. It's not essential to know this, but it's better to learn it now so in case you encounter it later you have a bit more knowledge on the situation plus this way you understand that you can seriously muck things up if your not careful). So again, type in Root for User and then Alpine for Password.
Make sure that your File Protocol is set to SCP (aka, Secure CoPy).
After a few tries or the first if your lucky, a window will open
Double Click on / <root> located in the left column to expand the tree
Goto /Library/Themes/Katra's Weather HD.Theme
Click on folder
Open up the folder labeled "Private" find the file called "configureMe.js"
(copy this file over to your desktop just so you have a backup before you change anything in case you need to quickly recover)
Double Click the file, and then follow the instructions located in the script.
Easy as pie :-)
Hope that helps, if you need any more assistance don't be afraid to ask!
And remember, when in doubt, Chicken OUT!!!! Some of this modding stuff does require a bit of "leap of faith moments" (if you've already Jailbroken, then you've pretty much taken the largest leap there is so the rest are more like little hops), however if your a bit too uncertain than don't be afraid to ask.Last edited by boe_dye; 11-08-2008 at 08:54 PM. the issue mentioned before where if you're on a call and you have a second call coming in, the area where the weather icon overlays the buttons for hold call + answer and ignore or underneath the icon and therefore non-responsive, or that you can't press it. Is there a way to fix this?

No one has responded to my questions either. It's like their ignoring this major problem that makes the phone not usable 100%.
I appreciate all the hard work that has been done so far on this and other themes but this is still a big problem not being able to answer a call and put the existing one on hold.
Comon' gang is there anyone out there who has any ideas?

I wonder if the issue lies in that the overlay simply covers it up. Like the battery on charge. If that is the case then all that would be needed would be to resize the area of the images just a wee bit smaller (dont hit me). If you notice when you lock your screen before things can update there is a square line around the area the images show up. I believe thats is the culprite hiding the slider bar and the switch calls/deny calls button.

Only works with zip code?
Another question. It's possible put the original sliders and put the name of city more up?
Thank you again and pardon for my english.

@katra,
the upgrade is nice. Thanks! But am still having the problem with the icon showing up WHEN a second call comes in. I'm currently on 3G and when i get the first call, as mentioned above, icon doesn't show up, but when the second call comes in as call waiting, the icon pops up and I cannot hold the current call and switch over. the only option i have is to end current call and switch. I just wanted to point this out to you.
i like the new battery indication. thanks again!
