Armadillo Battery 3G

I've seen this battery skin everywhere but just couldn't find it in Cydia. I did however find the source file for versions 1.x.x

So I repacked the .png files to be compatible with the 3g.

Apologies if it's a repost.

Thats a private repo...you have to donate to him for it...i dont know if you should be posting that without his permission......

Terribly sorry, I had no clue. I figured it was free like every other theme, since the older source files are still being hosted on multiple skinning sites.

I'm sorry but that rubs me the wrong way. I respect the fact that the creations are top notch but hell, I would donate in a heartbeat if asked, but forced to or no address? uhno baby. Your an artist, suffer for your art...

No one is forcing anyone. I post my icons to the Aqwoah thread and the battery has been in the downloads section for ages. I host my graphics on .Mac for which I pay. Originally, I had my repo public, but within one day, my bandwidth was exceeeded due to its popularity. Currently each of my 10 themes contain 972 icons (!!!) and they run at ~7 MB each. There is just no way I can host this with .Mac. Also, the level of support you are getting for the themes, including prompt delivery of requested icons, is way beyond any other theme. But you don't have to donate, if you have a lot of time and don't value the service of constant updates delivered to you through Cydia, you can spend hours downloading and renaming of the icons I make available for free. Your choice and your time. If this rubs you the wrong way, then I would suggest you use one of the many free alternatives. There are many nice themes, but as you will find out quickly, most of them fail to give you significantly more than the standard icons. And those themes that have an active user base are often fed with very uneven quality icons.

That's true, I see your point about the cost of doing "business".

The theme sets you offer are very nice, I'm just a contrary, sarcastic jerk for the most part, as well as poor.

Also remember that large repo sites like MMi or iSpazio or BigBoss all finance their hosting with ads, but this is their business and they do this for a living. Nothing is really free. And BTW, anyone who can afford an iPhone isn't really poor

He cant sell this in the app store since Apple dosen't allow theming.. If you dont want to spend for it, dont buy it. I paid for the repo info back when I was on my original iPhone. Great stuff.

i know he cant sell this in the app store but i think that jailbreaking and jailbreak apps should be free as does the dev team. by charging for things it makes those things on my blacklist no matter how cool. (to some extent)
