[RELEASE] Android Simplistic

I'm working on the StatusBar with the battery and connection images. Although I'm having trouble with the sizes, I can't seem to make the status bar big enough and the images looking right while it's smaller.
Still trying somethings out, if you have any tips I'll gladly hear some! :]

resize the images ur putting into the status bar a tad. use actual sizes like if its originally 75x48 jus drop it in even increments to 65x38 then 55x28 and so on til they fit properly.?

any chance you can pm me what you have so far? i'd like to have what u have so i can work from there to maybe help you finish it up. when were all done we can make 1 final product out of everything we've gathered/created for an actual release

well i dont know what exactly what the clock is (cuz i stole it from the heathrox's blackberry skin) but from the best of my knowledge, its an HTML item that appears on your springboard.. kinda like weatherwidget?

the files you need in order for this to work is wallpaper.html and wallpaper.png (which are included in the theme folder)

then in winterboard, turn OFF (uncheck) weatherwidget and turn ON (check) "user wallpaper"
this should enable the clock.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm going to have to stop this development. I actually had fun doing this, and was hoping for a early release of a fully functional theme. But I'll let spec-works take care of that.

I have everything sort of working except that my winterboard doesn't have a line to check that either turns on or off weatherwidget. It doesn't say that at all in my winterboard.

Is this something I have to install from a different source?

I looked an cydia and can't yet find anything!

I turned off the weather widget but my clock is still not working..Any ideas?never mind i got it

yeah sorry iphonedme, i have no idea how to fix your problem

but here is a shot of my winterboard config:

arrange it like how i did for the red highlighted part. (userwallpaper > transparent icon labels)
(you dont have to worry about mobileme... thats my artwork that i use)

are you sure you can't check and uncheck these themes? are u running the most recent version of winterboard? most recent version of the iphone?

TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO WORK ON THIS THEME: we should allocate who should work on which parts. how should this be done?
tasks that need to be done:
-the analog clock!
-cleanly ripping icons off the tmobile emulator
-batteries/signal/3g/E/wifi bars
-some application themes? (safari, ipod, camera)
-perhaps .artwork files

feel free to add or state what you're currently working on. IDEALLY, once we're done, we all combine it into a mega theme and release it :]

oh and here's the ripped screenshot from the tmobile emulator. i tried cutting them out using PS but i coulnd't get them clean enough. :[ anyone else willing to try? be my guest.

i repeat DO NOT USE MY DAILER. I MADE THE DIALER SPECIFICALLY FOR MY THEME AND I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU MAKE YOUR OWN

How is it *your* dialer? You copied it from Android and still haven't released anything. Your theme looks good, but you've promised release in the past so nobody is gonna hold their breath waiting on you. All your whining around every thread crying about people stealing the word "perfection" and whatever else is annoying - you take this stuff way to seriously dude.

actually no...nobody is crying...im just want it to be known..if you want to to release a theme...dont use MY HARD WORK AND HOURS I PUT INTO THIS and say u made it..thats all.if u dont stop being a dumb *** and actually look at the 2 pictures..u would see that i made this from scratch so it can fit on the iphones screen...im not going to address anything else u have to say because its obvious im talking to a little kid. im not a negative person and i hate arguing with people (especially with 27 posts) because this is not what i came here for...

Aww thats cute, your one of those people who actually takes pride in post counts and think they mean something too! I bet you felt really awesome when you hit 200! Your the man!

ebl please, i backed u upp but you never came thru, how the heck can someone steal ur dialer when u never released it. get out of this thread, and go work on ur theme. or finish it already so you can stop crying about other people ripping it. you can't knock someone who finishes something before you.

like i said. making your own android theme is cool. theres nothing wrong with that but taking what I DID FROM SCRATCH SHOWING AS A PREVIEW AND SAYING ITS YOURS IS ANOTHER THING. let me steal your girlfriend and call her my wife, and lets see how act.

all i said was "can you please not use my dialer" thats all i said..and you guys are ******** up...whats so wrong about creating your own stuff and not taking mine.
